When a game is over and it asks you to enter your initials. I don't want this on. Is this a FP script or a table script? Where can I disable this behavior? Thanks!

Remove this line from the script:
EnterHighScore(CurrentPlayer)

I wish there was a way to enter the high score like a "regular" pinball, and not have the huge pop up. That, and allow you to cycle through
the letters by holding down a button, rather than hitting the L/R flipper a million times to get to the letter you need.

There is a way - remove the script line I posted above, and script a new routine yourself - you could automatically scroll through characters using a variable set when a flipper is down and a timer to regularly check and advance them.

When I remove the "EnterHighScore(CurrentPlayer)" script (or remark out) the table freezes at the normal moment that it would require this script.  I.e.  At the end of play when the High Score prompt would normally pop up, it instead freezes the game and the sound just plays in the background.  Any thoughts on how to fix this to where it doesn't freeze but still keeps the high score prompt from showing up?

Karlson,  thanks for the reply... I've tried that with no luck.  The only thing I've been able to make work was to remark out the Enter High Score line and add a End Game line.  The thing that stinks about this is now the high scores that show on the DMD do not have initials, they just have dots (...) or an apostrophe or the like.  It would be nice if you could remove the gigantic high score box and only enter your initials on the DMD.

Ok next try. Future Pinball has a build in highscore system the popup promt. So go to menu > table > table info... and set the highscore defaults to 999999999 think you need much luck to beat that score ;-) hope that work.

Can anyone further expand on this to us scripting dummies?  I have deleted the script line as mentioned and as I have mentioned, added "EndofGame" and "EndofBallComplete" lines, and that will remove the text box, but the game won't finish like it should, such as going into a "number match" or anything like that.  It just plays the ball finished sound and image on the dmd until start is pressed again to reset play.  Any help on removing the textbox and still allowing for the entry of initials through the DMD would be appreciated.  Heck, I would be cool with just allowing the game to finish normally without the highscore box.

You can't remove the textbox and have an entry through the DMD simply.

Easy to remove the text box, but you have to code by yourself an entry through the DMD.

Can you explain how to remove the textbox and allow the game to finish normally?  Similar to Visual Pinball?  I.e., when Attack from Mars finishes in Visual Pinball, it goes into the saucer "match for extra game" then resets the game into attract mode.  I can't figure out how to make Future Pinball ignore the text box and move on to the "match for extra game" and then into attract mode.  I can make it ignore the text box, but it just remains in a state of "finished" until start is pressed again and it resets the game.

Go into the script and put in comment (or delete) the line(s)

EnterHighScore(CurrentPlayer)

I've tried deleting this line as well as remarking it out with an apostrophe, and the game seems to freeze at this point (doesn't move on from the finish game sound, can't put in a quarter, can't press start, nothing).  If I add an "EndofGame" or "EndofBallComplete" line, it will allow the game to accept a quarter or start a new game, but still won't move past the finish game and into attract mode.  Any thoughts?

And as a follow-up... how did you make that awesome dmd video in your sig?

What is the name of the table?

Concerning my DMD, it's a member of this site who make it.

Concerning Scared Stiff 1.1, just a quote (remark) on line 1230 ( EnterHighScore(CurrentPlayer) ) and it's work (for me)

Both of them the LedWiz versions.  I'll re-try doing the re-mark out on Scared Stiff when I get home tonight.  Again, I appreciate your help.
