I have already found one error by myself. whistle.gif "Bonus Ball" music does not start. Or it starts, but it's volume is zero.

I do not correct this error and I do not release a new version immediately.

I will now wait for some time (several days). In the meantime you also maybe find something else to change or to correct. Please let me know.

Played several games, and with each one I was impressed another notch. A very solid release that delivers the fun and challenge I hoped for from Space Station.

The work you must have put into this is astounding! It looks absolutely amazing!

I haven't been able to play it though tongue.gif When starting, it gives several "Unable to open library" errors. I hope I'm not missing something obvious. Thanks though!

I have just upload the new version (1.1.) of the this table. Here is some version history.

**** Version 1.0 ****
- First release

**** Version 1.1 ****
- Rules have been added
- Corrected some minor errors in the script
- Component reflections have changed a bit
- Now the "Bonus Ball" music is playing
- Added "Ball Drop" sound (Thank you SLAMT1LT for the idea)
- Moved the rubbers behind 3-bank drop targets (so that the ball does not get stuck there any more)

Thanks for the message helping me out - I was too dopey and in too much of a hurry to try it out, and didn't even take notice of those files in the zip file. This is easily one of the best-designed FP tables I've seen.

Some players have reported problems to start the Space Station table. The obvious reason is that the table playing requires considerable computer power. There are a couple ways to solve the problem by settings of Video/Rendering Options of Future Pinball program.

1. If you use "Presets: Maximum" settings, select first "Playfield Reflections - OFF" and try to play.

2. If the previous doesn't help, then start testing the table first with "Presets: Minimum", then "Presets: Medium" and so on, until you find settings which works in your computer.

I hope that this way you can get the table started, even though you loose something of the game's outlook.

(And sorry my poor English)

I still can't get this table to work. It was my very first pinball machine and would really like to figure this out. Tried it on both my cabinet system and test system, neither can play the game. Using Windows 7, not sure if that could be an issue? All other tables seem to work fine. NOT using the very latest FP that was released in Jan '11. Have system date rolled back with last good release of FP previous to that. All files/folder are in the correct location. Table opens fine. When launching it looks like it just about finished loading and then FP just locks, actually Win7 *sees* it lock and asks if I want to close the program as it is having problems.

Ideas/thoughts?

My compute power and video card is more than enough to run the table. Tried minimum settings and still no-go.

Thanks

I am very sorry, that you don't get my table to start.
My expertise is not enough to assist you now.
Hopefully someone more experienced can help.

It won't hurt to try starting up the table with the latest .exe just to see if that is an issue. I doubt the time rollback will affect the new one.

Is it set to "run as administrator?" Maybe a dumb question; I forgot to do that on mine though. Otherwise, I'm kind of perplexed. Maybe a reinstall of FP would help. And did you put the other files in the Space Station zip file in the libraries file? That was another thing I forgot to do when I downloaded this one

Maybe a reinstall of FP would help.

I was thinking that perhaps there was a problem with the download of the actual table itself and it might be good to re download it, and yes, perhaps they overlooked putting the other files in with the bumper icon for the table? Otherwise there is simply no good reason why that table acts any differently than all the other tables which play ok. BT

Thank you.

Preset :"Minimum" in FP.EXE solve my crash problem dblthumb.gif

now i'm trying to modulate with Preset "Medium"

Note :

for those who are searching where to configure , it's in

FP.EXE (Menu) Preferences > Videos / Rendering Options . It's down / right on the configuration screen
