Welcome to the VP Highscore Leaderboards! Here you will find our very own forum members competing in highscores on all of your favorite tables. New tables and scores are being added everyday. Got a new or better highscore? Come join the fun. There is no prizes to win other then pride in achieving a great score!

All scores are 3 ball with default downloaded/factory settings. If the table is an original or an older EM and has a 5 ball count it is acceptable, but only if it's how the table was when downloaded. For a valid score all tables physics, objects, etc. must be left unchanged. Since tables are being made with "independent angles" more and more for the desktop users. It is ok if you have changed the viewing angle of your playfield. So with that thought all table scores are both 4:3 and Cabinet scores, since in my opinion cabinet style is just another view smile.gif

My highscore board is based on the honor system. I think as pinball players we all know it is more fun to compete! smile.gif

Please post your scores along with a screenshot in The McD's original highscore thread and I will update the standings here. He started the highscore competition on VPF.org and I'd like to not take that away from him. You can find his thread here http://www.vpforums....?showtopic=1623

I agree, competing is more fun. Hopefully this thread will spark some interest in more people to start posting their scores.

We may be competing but it is all in fun and there is no prizes so no reason to lie about scores either, just be proud!! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

It does not matter as long as its the same version of the table. I was thinking should I keep FS scores and desktop scores seperate since both views have their advantages / disadvantages but then I decided not to if its the same table/version.

Unless people start to speak up and say they would like fs and desktop scores seperate then I will seperate them

Hi SabbatMoon,

As said before in the McD's High score thread: nice work! I didn't even know I had some of the high scores that are mentioned above, most of them because other people probably didn't bother to post theirs.... smile.gif I am still proud of my early Indy '93 and VP8 LOTR work though. It really stokes the flames of competition to see where everybody stands!

Hi,
I’ve done this score last week (645 390 660 + 14 castles destroyed, 9 joust victories, 15 catapult slams, 14 peasant revolts, 12 damsels saved, 43 trolls destroyed).
Is there anybody who can tell me the others best scores in Medieval Madness on VP9 2.1 ?

Great job keeping this organized Sabbat Moon! However, I would like to make a couple of suggestions that may help you keep this better organized:

1. You already have the scores seperated by table version. You should also have scores seperated by ROM version as well. Take the Space Invaders scores Ive seen as an example. It looks like one score was achieved using the 6-digit ROM for this table, and the other was achieved using the 7-digit ROM. It would seem unfair to me to compare one ROM version to another ROM version. Same is true for a table such as Addams Family. There are several different versions out there of that ROM, and I am not including the Gold ROM versions in this statement. Each different ROM version could have different rulesets (although not likely) but it would be a better competition if competitors knew which ROMs were being used as well as which table versions.

2. I saw a rolled-over score for Harlem Globetrotters on there as well. Rollover scores should not be allowed in this competition as that score can not be easily verified either with a screenshot or nvram. Now Drop-A-Card is a different story. That rollover can be allowed as there is a visible means of verifying the score achieved. As long as a rollover score can have irrefutable verification of that achievement, it should be allowed to be posted. Otherwise how would competitors know that the score is legitimate or someone is just saying that. That was the way the old high scores site ran.

This was a discussion I had with slam23 several months ago when he proposed a new high scores site. Unfortunately that new site will not come to pass due to the proposed tournaments here which will post scores in a database (I believe) for each table used in a tournament.
