Hi all-

I'm trying to troubleshoot a pinmame issue with Desktop mode. For vpx tables such as Viking, pm does no show a score box in a window and the score is not visible anywhere else. I also have some issues with desktop tables where the score display is supposed to be embedded with the backdrop of the table but is not working. The issue appears to be mostly related to mid 80's tables that use alphanumeric display. I tried tweaking pm and haven't seen a way to resolve this. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this is your issue or not..  But I know I have this issue on my laptop.  I think it relates to the intel graphics card.  It does not display any lights on the backdrop.  I've not found a fix, if that's your issue too :-(

If you want to see the vpinmame window, search for

.Hidden = 1
and change it to
.Hidden = 0

For the table with no alphanumeric in the background, post an example table

Not trying to highjack..  but I know my MGOW table works this way..  Works fine on my desktop (nvidia card)  not on my laptop (intel)  same with my old laptop (also intel)  At one point I'd had a table where half the score lights were on the backdrop and half on the table..  table lights worked fine, but not the backdrop ones. I'd have to dig for that though.

Hi Lodger, my next update on Viking will have this fixed.

Basically needs this added to the script:

Dim DesktopMode: DesktopMode = Table1.ShowDT
Dim hiddenvalue

If DesktopMode = True Then 'Show Desktop components
hiddenvalue=0
Else
hiddenvalue=1
End if

And then in the Sub Table1_init

.Hidden=hiddenvalue

Hope that helps.
