Could you summarize the benefits of upgrading from my version that is working. Is the new version better resolution or faster? I’m not clear on what being changed.

Thanks

I thought I had outlined the changes in this topic pretty well, but:

- Fixes some performance issues and improves performance a little.

- Fixes scoreboard only accepting up to 32 bit integers.

- Fixes scoreboard00 issue with commas on systems that use a decimal point as thousands seperate.

Honestly, i do not play much. If I have missed anything in converting to the latest version of XDMD, do please let me know. Stephen made a few changes and its hard to know if I got everything. Is Color working right?

Tonight I cleaned up my UltraDMD/XDMD installation somewhat.  I had all of the required files in my C:/Visual Pinball folder.  It was pretty unorganized.  There was a C:XDMD folder but those files were duplicated in C:Visual Pinball.  So I removed the C:XDMD folder and removed all the files from C:Visual Pinball that duplicated the UltraDMD Installer files.  I then ran your installer and it installed UltraDMD/XDMD in C:UltraDMD.  I had to monkey with C:Visual Pinball a bit as it needed a couple of the files I had removed.  But in the end I got it working correctly with the Installer from the PinballX site and my file structure looks a lot more organized.    Now my C:Visual Pinball folder looks much cleaner and I can find all the UltraDMD/XDMD files easily.  I suspect future upgrades will be much easier!

One question, when UltraDMD loads the splash screen shows version 1.4.  Is this correct?  Even though you have updated the code is the splash screen still suppose to show this version number?  I see the PinballX download change log shows version 3.08.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Lane

I should have updated the version number you are correct. I was expecting to do a bit of cleanup but still have not got the official source from Stephen so that is why. I don't want to bug him either,

How can I disable X and/or Y invert options outside the Ultra DMD program? I made a mistake and closed the program with either or both of them enabled and now: I am unable to configure it's settings, because the DMD screen doesn't appear at all in my PC screen.

I also have another problem: Each time I attempt to launch "Pro Pinball. The Web" game through Visual Pinball program, DMD screen never appears on the table. It will always open as a separate program window on my PC's background. This means that the only way I can see it, is by pressing simultaneously ALT + TAB keyboard buttons and changing my view screen to it manually.

At first: Ultra DMD screen did appear within and alongside with the pinball table. But now: It does not anymore.

I have been unable to find a solution to either of these problems an because have little to no knowledge about coding or scripting I don't dare to touch such settings without proper instructions, so I hope there are someone here who can help me with both of my problems.

Other than those two: Ultra DMD is good and have worked properly on my end.

I apologize for posting this same thing twice in VPforums. I forgot entirely that I could have just create a topic regarding to my problems with UltraDMD instead of leaving it on here.

Where do I find the table scripts that need to be modified?  Are these generated after playing a table, or after setting up a front-end (waiting to do that until each indivicual table/backglass/DMD working).

Thank you!
