There are no doubt beter ways to code this, but as brute force goes, it works.
Will up a video of it going when I finish tidying up the cables.

Ain't no one gonna see the code when it's running anyway, maxx. As long as it works, it's good. biggrin.gif I'm a programmer, so when I see code, my nerd-sense kicks in, my eyes roll back in my head, and I start speaking in tongues. Just ignore me. whistle.gif

Looking forward to seeing it in action!

Got the Arduino panel installed and tested. Still need to clean up the code to make the sequences not so jerky and finish the other idea I have for the LED's.

Awesome Maxx, looks great!!! I don't really see the jerkiness you're describing as being that obvious, and if you flash the center bulb between transitions, it'd probably be eliminated.

Looks very cool. cool.gif

Thanks for the compliments guys.
Just to take it one step further, I had an idea to turn the side of my cab into a VU meter.
A small microphone on the Ardudino and a very rough amplifier circuit and some smoothing looks like this

Will have this as part of the sequences and the loop back to the start.

@Zeb I guess I am just being fussy mate. If you have a look at the end of the vid when it returns to the frame sequence they seem to flow a lot better now

A pic of the metal frame bolted into the cab Bladex. Its a metal frame that I welded, screwed the slides to the metal frame, then bolted it through the cab. Thought you were going to use the MDF option?

Finally got my custom lock down bar today after ordering almost two months ago from virtuapin, with total fault belonging to the postal service.
Apparently they are using a different shipping contractor to send stuff from the US to Australia and they now wait until all containers are 18 tonne plus. Thanks for the extra 4 weeks wait boys thmbdn.gif [/end rant]

Delivery times aside, anyone thinking of getting a custom lock down bar for their cab, I can highly recommend it. Apologies for the crap picture. The good camera has currently been reassigned.
