Hi,
I've seen a few posts but have not been fortunate enough to find the right post (if someone's already mentioned this) or I am blind
. Anyway, re: titling, it seems to be quite difficult using analog device such as the virtuapin controller, at least it is for me.
Some info:
- Using the virtuapin digital plunger kit
- Using Visual Pinball ver 9.21 and 9.9.0
- nudging works fine
- I have contactors/mech motor and shaker motor
- On at least one game (Sinbad), tilting works fine
- let's use a specific example, the newest Flash Gordon, it does not work
- Settings are the same in VP for gain, tilt sensitivity, etc, nothing changed, so I would think what works for Sinbad, works for Flash Gordon but it does not
- Of course there are script settings such as "vpmnudge.sensitivity" which was different for both tables. So I tried setting the same as used in Sinbad (vpmNudge.Sensitivity = 5) on Flash Gordon but it doesn't work.
- one time, 10 minutes ago to be precise, I reset the vpmNudge.Sensitivity back to 5 for Flash Gordon and the moment I pressed the flipper, the machine tilted. Now since I had some very high gain and tilt settings, I tuned those back down trying to find a sweet spot, but no success. Then the big frustrating moment: it stopped tilting ... even if I ended up putting the numbers back to extremely high gain/tilt sensitivity.
Drives me nuts, there's got to be something I'm missing, though I suspect the loading of the settings/keys may be buggy: sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Any assistance is appreciated, you can't have unlimited nudging, it just isn't right. ![]()
Thanks in advance.
