On my second install I tried running with all the vbs in a scripts directory under the VP tree. It didn't find the files. Pretty sure it is possible to run this way. What did I miss?

I am also curious, as I have always had to put scripts in the Tables folder for them to work.

Leaving me wondering, "What is this Scripts folder for?".

scripts folder is for the scripts.  such helpful information LOL

 

thats where I have mine and all my tables work,  but I had to modify a few in order for them to work.

 

 

if you get a missing vbs file, the problem is with the table.

 

I narrowed the problem down to some where in here

one example is this  table

you will get a "Misssing gts1.vbs"  if you don't have the gts1.vbs script in the same folder with the table.

 

if you get this error replace the entire " LoadVPM"  sub routine with GtxJoes  version.

 

the one that uses the cController.txt.

That is likely it 32assassin...I recall it was indeed the gts1.vbs is missing error I got.

Here is a list of Desktop Version Tables (THAT USE ROMS) that are dependent on VBS file being in same folder. I may have missed some as these are just the ones that have a dB2S Backglass available.  So I guess these will all need to have the script editted to run them if your VBS Scripts are placed in the Scripts folder.

You just need to change that line as explained in above post.

Thanks for the info jpsalas. I was just letting everyone else know which Tables will need to have this script edit in case they were wondering and didn't feel like going through each and every Pinball Table to see if it is dependent on script file being in same folder. This list is just the ones that have an available dB2S Backglass.

I predict that this list would be alot longer, if I was to check every Destop version Table available for download on this site.

If this will help people then I will go through every Table available to download here and report back with my findings on which ones are dependent on vbs file in same folder as Table.
