Data East Star Wars Primitives

Screenshots
This is just the amazing JPSalas' table with Primitive meshes in for R2D2 and the Death Star.  I'm not at all familiar with the specifics of this table in real life so please let me know if the lighting is bad or something.  Since primitives were used for the toys, this table is mostly angle independent now.

What's New in Version 1.5 (See full changelog)

  • Added Zany's bumper caps
  • Made DS a little bigger
  • Changed blue glow around R2
  • Implemented Dark's suggestion of having R2's on light not be the brightest; you only see that completely on anytime the light comes on, but it dims on step immediately.
  • Adjust plastic and lights above the hyperdrive drop targets
  • added hyperspace graphic above drop targets.

VP_physmod5: Death Star correct, but flippers slow

This uses the same ROMs that JPS used, I didn't change that.

Not sure why the mesh isn't there for some of you.  Please let me know if this is still the case with the newest version (although I'm not sure what to do).

Rob046 did a FS mod of JPS's table and I have requested permission to mod his table.  I think I'm going to have to wait for the timeout period for mod requests.

I forgot to mention, in version 1.1, pushing the launch button is the same as flicking the shift lever up, then down, the pushing the button.  As far as I know the only thing the shift lever is used for is to open the DS with only 5 moons and this lets you do that.  You can also simulate pushing the lever up by pushing the up arrow and the lever down with the down arrow.

Pops look sweet!! Still have a black hole and no death star. Thanks for your work on this table!!

Hmm... I did these mods using VP 9.9.  Try selecting the DS in the editor and make sure "visible" is checked?  I'm just guessing here because it looks fine to me.

No matter what I try, the Death Star still appears as a black hole.  Is there a specific version of VP 9.9 that this needs to resolve that?  Thanks for your efforts.
