Bally's Old Chicago (1975)
http://www.ipdb.org/...ine.cgi?id=1704
Table build/scripted by Loserman!
Thanks to the following for their contributions (whether they know it or not!)
If I have missed anyone, let me know as this table would not exist without the
folks in the community.
Popotte - images/platics without which this table would not exist
JPSalas - gameroom backdrop and methods gleaned from his fantastic tables
EalaDubhSidhe - table object templates
Black - HS save/load routines
Itchigo - table templates which gave me ideas on how to accomplish what I wanted in this table
CONRAM - various code ideas learned by tracing through code on his tables
akiles50000 - for that totally awesome tutorial on table building. So much stuff I now understand because of the work put into this tutorial
Inkochnito - scorecards/instruction cards
Pinuck - Gottlieb chimes and score motor routines
Herweh - directB2S designer and tools
JimmyFingers - rolling ball and additional sound routines
Arngrim - DOF coding
Of course, the team behind Visual Pinball - without them, there wouldn't be much choice for playing pinball on a PC
I also must include Black and his Future Pinball as I used tables on that platform to help in building my VP tables.

Love the new ball sounds... #2 above still there. Fix that and you have a masterpiece ![]()
Loserman, some (I hope) constructive criticism for your latest EM releases. The playfields all look a little 'flat' they are beautifully drawn, but there isn't much depth to any of these EM's releases. They all play well, but there isn't enough 'light and shade' which gives you the impression of 3D. If you look at tables like Joker Poker, Abrac Ca Dabra, or any of Pinuck's EM mastepieces for reference points.
I don't want to complain, as these all look like they have great potential, I just think pretty much all of them need work with the lighting, and the depth.
Cheers,
Hey guys, where do I find the rom for this game? Thank you!

The table is just beautiful! And it plays very well.
I have found just a couple small issues.
#1. It awards me a free game for the skill shot when I launch the ball. From the plunger, if I roll over the 1000 point star at the top of the table, I get a free game. It seems to only do this on the first ball. This shouldn't be.
#2. When the ball is shot into the cups, there is no image of a ball there. Just the empty cup.
And a wish list, would b to have the ball on wood sounds like Pinnuck has on his tables.
But Great work!!! Thank you very much!
