Based on the 1981 table by Stern.
Thanks to Strangeleo72 for taking pictures of his new Freefall machine and for testing this VP version.
This table uses huge images, as the FS version. So you may need to reduce the texture limit in VP.

Just a side note: I made this table in 5 days. From building the playfield from 5 different photos to building the VP table. The images were very nice so building the playfield and the plastics was very easy. The VP table was also easy to build, no strange objects to build. I want to thank TAB/destruk/luvthatapex for their old table which was a nice start to find all the lightnumbers for vpinmame. In this table I added the missing lights, I fixed the lock, which is working perfectly now, and I also added the feature of pressing both flippers to avance the selector in the middle. So now this table is working 100%. Just remember to press F6 to adjust the sounds/voices and the match feature (thanks to inkochnito for that F6 routine).

What's New in Version 1.0.1 (See full changelog)

  • log:
  • 1.0.1
  • - Adjusted the three top targets so they are easier to hit
  • - Increased the flippers strength for better center shots
  • - Limited the ball speed
  • - Fixed right outlane not working.
  • - Added missing target in the script.

Wow, this table really gets your adrenalin going!  The ball is fast and with lots of open ground to cover it darts from point to point in the blink of an eye.  You don't relax in this game you keep your eye on the ball if you want to keep it in play. Very fun, but not one you want to play to unwind before you go to bed.  Nice work JP,  you should never tell people it only took 5 days.  Folks will start expecting weekly releases LOL!
