Based on the Bally table from 1991

I should like to thank destruk for his help with the routine for the head.

And also thanks to Strangeleo for the backdrop and the many pictures and video he took of the original machine.

The table is only for VP9, and it is angle independent (the plunger may look a little weird on some angles), so if you don't like the dmd then just delete it http:///default/smile.gif and adjust the scale as you wish.

Update 1.1:
- Added the impulse plunger for better hiting the skillshot. But still is quite hard to achieve.
- changed some settings

Update 1.2 28 March 2011
- Updated for VP912 with new alpha ramps
- Added new flippers and changed some settings.
- Added new bumpers
- Fixed the left ramp

Update 1.2.1 28 April 2011
- Added the missing roll over wires http:///default/smile.gif

What's New in Version 1.2.3 (See full changelog)

  • Update 1.2.3
  • The bumpers had the wrong switch numbers, thanks arngrim.
  • Update 1.2.2
  • This update is only a bug fix and it only fixes the ramp on the back so the balls are not lost and the lock works as intended. This 1.22 should have been updated in 2010, but I guess I forgot :)

Lovely work as always, JP :-)

Wow, looks fantastic! And plays nice and quickly, unlike the actual machine I played at uni. Great fun.

I had one question though - I noticed (playing on keyboard) that the plunger velocity doesn't seem to vary by how long you plunge. i.e. just tap the plunger key and it comes out roughly as fast as if you held it right back. There's still variation in velocity, but it doesn't seem to relate to the plunger.

Is this a feature, or a bug? :-)

Thanks again, JP!
I can't seem to find the roms for this? Any ideas?
yeah ive got the same problem. The roms dont show up for me either. Just for this table.
It says

"Machine terminated, before initialised, check the rom path or rom file."

But all my other V9 tables can find the rom path.

I have played the game yest and obtained some problems.

First an script error in line 116 that says subroutine not define and the game stop load.
Erasing this line the game loads and works.

But in the right ramp the ball dont past the wires ramps dunno why.
Erasing this wires the balls goes through the ramp but stop in the middle .

Sorry if I have handled the tables but was only to see why the game dont works .
If this isnt allowed tell me and I will do not again

a little wacky but detail level is amazing as usual one of the more finely detailed tables made by jpsalas as of recent memory.
