Foo Fighters
This table is based on Stern's Foo Fighters from 2023. It is a kind of tribute to Stern's table.
The rules are based on the rulesheet PDF from Stern's wen site, and the one found on Tiltforums.
All the rules are implemented, but some of the scores are simplified, as the original rules about the scoring are quite complicated.
Most of the multiballs are implemented, and the only one missing is the Toy Multiball. The scoring in the multiballs are a little different than in the real table, including the Final Battle, which I have simplified.
This is my wip number 50, that's why the file version is 0.5.0
Even if all the rules are implemented, it is not sure that they all work as intended, mostly after finishing a game and starting a new one, as I have not tested that yet. With so many rules it will take to test all.
The music is included in the table, but there are no voices nor taunts. I'll add them later.
Also there are many DMD displays missing, just a few of them are implemented.
So the table is a very very EARLY BETA, but I wanted you to try it, mostly to see how it plays. So, you do not need to start writing posts about bugs, as there are plenty of them. But you can start multiballs, do the city battles, and VAN perks are there too, bonus multipliers and playfield multipliers, but again a lot of things are still missing.
Merry Christmas!
JP

This is incredible. I appreciate the work immensely.
Great play - so fast!
I too had the issue of the next ball not appearing occasionally. I had to shake the table and get the captured ball to eject!
extremely fun table, and the physics feel just right. i don't know anything about foo fighters but am glad i downloaded this.
Can't wait for the final version ![]()
Wow. Love it. Getting back into Virtual Pinball after 18 years away. My cab is now done and this is 1st JPSalas game I tried since the old days. Thanks so much for this. My partner loves Foo Fighters - she is gonna have a fit when she sees this and will maybe buy into Pinball at last lol
Hey JP. I freaking love this table. I can't wait till eventually somebody makes a pup for it because it's deserving of one. I know it's still a work in progress but can I if I can just make one tiny suggestion and I hesitate to do so because I know I'm talking to the king of this whole VPX hemisphere, lol. But it's just a tiny little thing that can make a major improvement to the final product. When we drain everything just goes silent and because there's no call outs it kind of is vibe killer. It would be great if the song that was playing could either continue until we choose the next one OR Possibly a little drain type music of some sort would be excellent. Thank you for all that you do for this community buddy Have a good day
Its a great game!!! though with the lock ball not ending your turn or starting multi ball makes this unplayable.
Is this a "beta" version?? No need, JP, to make the final version !!
Your table is superb, no complaints. Everything's there: the graphics, the music, the gameplay.
Your table is super fun !!!

This is so great. It's one of my favorite new pinballs game to play in the arcade. I noticed you misspelled "Seattle" on the playing board in the lower center. You have "Seatle."
