Get ready for chaos. Scientists have discovered an alternate universe where the laws of physics don’t apply, supernatural events are commonplace, and colorful chaos reigns supreme. It is your duty as a lab technician to run tests on these impossible anomalies of nature to try to understand how this bizarre dimension operates. Discover unearthly elements, grow alien plant life, find new planets, experiment with magic itself. Maybe if we run enough tests, we can finally start to understand this strange cosmos beyond our own. Or is the very nature of chaos unknowable...?

Back to my rainbow, psychedelic overload style! Another 100% original table designed by me and built from scratch using the blank VPX table. All the art is hand-painted by me. The music is composed and performed by me. Models are made by me. A lot of the animations are made with AI, and some with After Effects. This table is designed to be fun and easy, although beating ALL of the objectives can be challenging.

Thanks to @jogrady7, @Panasony and @Fusionwerks for help with the backglass, advice on wire ramps, and general testing.

GOAL:

Perform all 10 experiments to learn about the alternate universe. Upon completing the tenth experiment, beat the Mystical Mystery Multiball to win the game.

ELECTRICITY EXPERIMENT:

In this universe, electricity does not behave like our own. However, we’ve built a tesla coil to conduct these strange currents. Shoot the Magnet at the left of the table to send your ball up through the electrical spiral. Spell C-O-I-L to start the experiment. Four shots will be charged with electricity for a few seconds. Shoot them four times to complete the experiment. If the electricity dies, shoot the Tesla coil again to recharge the lights.

ASTRONOMY EXPERIMENT:

This universe is full of surreal celestial bodies. Observe as many planets as you can. Shoot the left orbit to spin the telescope around and locate a planet. A bizarre extraterrestrial world will appear above the bio dome. Shoot the Magic ramp in the middle to observe the planet. Observe the planet six times to finish the experiment.

MICROSCOPE EXPERIMENT:

The microscopic realm is even weirder than what the eye can see. We’ve set up a microscope at the left in lane. Shoot the Micro ramp in middle of the table to pick up bacterial cultures from the parallel dimension, then bring them to the microscope to be observed. Spell M-I-C-R-O to start the experiment. Hit the gadget beside the Micro ramp to light and reload shots. Shoot any green lit shot to find exotic species previously undiscovered – viruses, bacteria, protists, anything you can find. Shoot four to win.

CHEMISTRY EXPERIMENT:

This peculiar domain is built on elements we’ve never seen before. Run chemistry tests to learn about them. Shoot the Chemistry ramp at the left to spell C-H-E-M. Then shoot the lit lab specimen lava lamp near the plunger lane to find elements. Periodic table targets will appear in the center of the table. Shoot one to discover a new element. Then shoot the ball inside the lamp hole to finish the experiment.

MAGIC EXPERIMENT:

The most fundamental feature of this alternate universe is the supernatural itself. Because of this, there are three experiments built into the Magic ramp, but you only need to complete one. Shoot the Magic ramp eight times to light the star lights. This will initiate one of three Magic experiments.

1. Anomaly Experiment: Clusters of incredible anomalies will sparkle on the playfield. Gather six of them to complete the experiment. If you’ve collected all the anomalies you can see, shoot the Magic ramp again to replenish a random amount.

2. Ring Experiment: A spinning rainbow wormhole will appear on the playfield. Shoot through the ring six times to complete the experiment. But be warned, these unpredictable wormholes blink in and out of existence. They will move when you least expect it.

3. Gem Experiment: Video mode! Magical crystals will appear randomly on your video screen. Use your crosshairs to find them and destroy them. Smash five before time runs out to complete the experiment. But be warned, your ball will stay in motion the entire time. You’ll have to multitask and think fast to avoid draining during the gem minigame.

PHYSICS EXPERIMENT:

How do atomic particles operate in this universe? Shoot the Magic ramp spinners to turn the crank and slowly raise the Particle Collider Cannon at the back right of the table. When the cannon is finally ready, shoot the left orbit to lock a ball and begin Particle Multiball. Once you release a new ball from the plunger lane, the Particle Collider Cannon will shoot the locked ball onto the playfield. Shoot the Bang ramp at the right for a jackpot. Collect one jackpot to complete the experiment.

IMPOSSIBLE EXPERIMENT:

No matter how much we learn about this world, we’ll clearly never fully understand it. That’s evidenced by these intrusive Impossible Events that just seem to keep happening. Complete two Hurry Ups to trigger an Impossible Event. A fourth-dimensional playfield will appear above the playfield (right in the way of everything!) with a parallel universe doppelganger of your ball trapped bouncing in the void. Use the nudge keys to try to tilt the ball into the cup in the center of the plane and put an end to this obnoxious phenomenon.

BIOLOGY EXPERIMENT:

We’ve collected samples of the alien plant life from this universe to be cultivated in the bio dome. You will see three of the flowers growing over the pop bumpers. Shoot the left orbit to enter the bio dome, but you’ll need to hold your upper playfield flipper out to redirect your ball into the pop bumpers. Otherwise, it will zip right back out again. Hit the flower bumpers ten times to start the Biology Experiment. Then shoot the orbit again WITHOUT touching the upper playfield flipper to grow the foreign flora bigger and bigger. Complete four orbit shots to win.

COMBUSTION EXPERIMENT:

These unearthly elements really are prone to explode at any minute. Test the limits of these reactive compounds by shooting the Bang ramp to spell B-A-N-G. This will generate three fireworks explosives. Ignite six of them to complete the experiment. Shoot the Bang ramp to replenish explosives.

SPECTRUM EXPERIMENT:

Far beyond the visible spectrum, otherworldly light waves flicker in the darkness. We can detect them through our laboratory instruments, but it will take time to identify these undiscovered hues. Complete 100 successful shots to start the Spectrum experiment. Shoot one of the three flashing shots to light the rainbow bulbs at the back of the table and capture these unseen colors. Over time, the bulbs will fizzle out again, so keep the shots going fast. Lit shots will alternate back and forth. Once all five bulbs are blinking, complete one last shot to finish the experiment.

MYSTICAL MYSTERY MULTIBALL:
After completing all 10 experiments, the wizard mode will begin. This is a 7-ball multiball, so good luck! Shoot the magic ramp three times to win the quest and earn the only extra ball available in the game.

GADGETS:

This alternate universe is not only unnatural and supernatural, but it brings undecipherable technology. Baffling devices are kept at the center of the laboratory that take increasing complexity to solve. Shoot the first gadget 20 times to solve it. This will generate a new gadget. This one will shut off every few shots and require a battery recharge from the Tesla Coil to solve. The final gadget will also shut off frequently and requires a code panel to power it back on. Light the entire panel to reactivate the gadget – repeat to solve. Solving a gadget will raise your end of ball multiplier and award 10000000 points.

SUPERNATURAL HURRY UPS:

In addition to the Magic experiments, a strange and miraculous event will take place every time you complete two experiments. Hurry Ups will trigger allowing a chance for big points if you act fast. The more Magic experiments you complete, the harder the Hurry Up, but the bigger the point chance.

1. Hurry Up 1 (No Magic experiments): Shoot the flickering magical tunnel on the chemistry ramp to complete.

2. Hurry Up 2 (1 Magic experiment): Shoot the left orbit and enter the Biodome to collect this magical spark.

3. Hurry Up 3 (2 Magic experiments): The Magic and Bang ramps will be distorted into an inconceivable mass of light and color. Shoot both before the Hurry Up ends to complete.

4. Hurry Up 4 (3 Magic experiments): A massive magical crystal will appear in front of the Tesla Coil. Hit it three times to shatter it and complete the Hurry Up.

ACHIEVEMENT PANEL:

In addition to the ten experiments, you may also want to finish the check list that your scientist supervisors have left for you on the lower right of the table. Lighting the entire panel will grant you 100,000,000 points.

Achievements:

1. Solve gadget 1

2. Solve gadget 2

3. Solve gadget 3

4. Complete the Magic Anomaly Experiment

5. Complete the Magic Rings Experiment

6. Complete the Magic Gems Experiment

7. Complete at least one Hurry Up

8. Execute Skill Shot (Shoot the gadget quickly after leaving the plunger lane. You can retry this any time by starting Particle Collider Multiball)

9. Earn at least 10 million points

10. Earn at least 20 million points

11. Earn at least 100 million points

12. Execute a 5x combo by shooting ramps in rapid succession

AWARD KICKER:

Every time you complete an experiment, your scientist supervisors will reward you. The kicker beneath the Biodome will light. Shoot the left orbit, then redirect your shot into the Biodome with the upper flipper to enter the Award Kicker. You will be granted anything from a super ball saver, multiplier increase, bonus points, a super charged Magic ramp, or three hypnotic phenomena that will appear temporarily inside the laboratory. The more gadgets you solve, the more of these phenomena will appear at once. Roll over them for HUGE points.

How many colors do you want in your pinball table?

CrimsonTurtle8: YES!

You make some incredible tables, dude!

Wow, you've excelled yourself this time with graphics madness haha, love the Bubble Lamp.

On the Backglass there are two score displays but only one seems to do anything, or do I have to keep playing to see something on it when I do something right?

Thanks! Oh, it should work but I haven't been able to test the backglass myself. It's always a bit of a leap of faith when I make a b2s file. There's no "Balls Left" display text? Any suggestions to fix that in the code are appreciated! Haha

Oh okay, no the second score display is not showing anything. I'm afraid I don't know how to fix this, perhaps your b2s collaborators could look into it.

I'll give it a whirl. It's not important really. A lot of old tables don't tell you how many balls are left anyway, and otherwise it just tells you how many shots you have left before the "Spectrum Experiment" starts.

i am having issue extracting table. can anyone help ? Thanks.

Sorry about that! The instructions are kind of small in my description, but I think you may need WinRar since the upload limit is way too small for my tables. If you download WinRar and download the entire zipped folder into one spot on your computer, then extract just "part1" with winrar, it should automatically combine all the other parts. HOWEVER, I would just suggest the Dropbox link I put in the description. It's just a direct line to a folder with all the files. I hope that helps! Thanks for your interest!

Your tables are such fun. Thanks for sharing with us !!!

Have downloaded the new version but I'm afraid it's still the same problem, nothing on the second real, maybe it's something on my end although I have no problems with any other tables and backglasses.

Oh darn. Sorry! Yeah I mean I'm just blindly copying code other people have given me. I don't even understand why certain code works, let alone what to fix when it doesn't.
