I was going to request this getting some love because the ramps are so fun!

Useless makeover. Go for the original one. 

 

I just played both and I found that this one has a sharper/higher res playfield and assets. Plus the lighting is more detailed and the reflections are improved as well. So definitely not a useless makeover, not that Kiwi's version had anything wrong with, it's still a very good table, but this is a definite improvement imo.

Yes some people play on 15" laptops and hard to notice differences but playing on a 43" QN90B you can really see the resolution and sharpening increases.

Not a useless makeover.
