Klondike Williams

Screenshots
Klondike by Williams 1971, DT, FS and FSS version.

Interest in this table has recently rekindled,
the playfield was already ready, I took the best images of the plastics I had, and drew them again.

The basis of the scripts is based on a EM table by JP Salas, and other code arrived from the Klondike version by Leon Spalding.

Special thanks:

JP Salas
Leon Spalding
Leeoneil for implementing DOF

JP's LUT brightness control: hold down the LeftMagnaSave and pressing the RightMagnaSave change the brightness of the table.

Glorious works and plays super especially in cab mode :-) For those who it doesn't work just delete the klondike.txt in user and then it works perfect.

just deleting the txt file won't make it work when you run it the 2nd time :)  <<< odd worked for me

however Joppnl post above is probably a workaround that will keep working.

I had to laugh when I first saw this one.  I actually own this real table its called Gold Rush!! 1971

Hi!

I looked at IPDB and you're right... but there's one called Klondike with a different backglass than yours:

Klondike / IPD No. 1388 / August 23, 1971 / 1 Player

https://www.ipdb.org...ine.cgi?id=1388

See you!

Looks Great and backglass also included. Thank you so much!

Great work and thank you for your efforts making this available for all of us to enjoy.  I did have some trouble getting DOF working though.

I noticed that the pubic DOF configuration doesn't have any event mapping for bumpers for 8 solenoid setups. So I converted my config to 10 and just combined toys to map to my 8 solenoid setup.

That wasn't enough though.  I also had to change the following code block to get my bumper solenoids working.  I don't remember if I changed the drop targets too so I copied that here as well.  Hope this helps someone.

'********************************** Bumpers

Sub Bumper1_Hit
	PlaySoundAtVol SoundFXDOF ("jet2", 119 , DOFPulse, DOFContactors), Bumper1, BumVol
    AddScore 10 + 90 * BulbB1.State
End Sub

Sub Bumper2_Hit
    PlaySoundAtVol SoundFXDOF ("jet2", 122 , DOFPulse, DOFContactors), Bumper2, BumVol
    AddScore 10 + 90 * BulbB2.State
End Sub

Sub Bumper3_Hit
    PlaySoundAtVol SoundFXDOF ("jet2", 120 , DOFPulse, DOFContactors), Bumper3, BumVol
    AddScore 100 + 900 * BulbB3.State
End Sub

Sub Bumper4_Hit
    PlaySoundAtVol SoundFXDOF ("jet2", 120 , DOFPulse, DOFContactors), Bumper4, BumVol
    AddScore 10 + 90 * BulbB4.State
End Sub

Sub Bumper5_Hit
    PlaySoundAtVol SoundFXDOF ("jet2", 119 , DOFPulse, DOFContactors), Bumper5, BumVol
    AddScore 10 + 90 * BulbB5.State
End Sub

End If
End Sub

'********************************** Mid Targets

Sub TargetLM_Hit
PlaySoundAtBallVol SoundFXDOF ("target", 119, DOFPulse, DOFTargets), TarVol

End Sub

Sub TargetRM_Hit

	DOF 234, DOFPulse
    If Tilted = False Then
    Reel3Advance
    Addscore 10
End If
End Sub

thank you Kiwi

Thank you for the update.

Awesome! Thanks so much!

My brother and I played lots of Klondike at Zorba’s, our local burger joint, in Mt Isa, Queensland, Australia in the early 70s.

i am very excited to find such an excellent looking recreation of this old beast of a table!

Greatly made table - plays perfectly and looks great. Thank you!
