This dark beauty from bord has a wicked 5 ball multiball.
I've given it holes and new lighting and taller bumpers.
2.1 has FlexDMD added Thanks scutters.
Enjoy :)

It's a shame that this fighting and arguing has to happen. I feel like bigus1 has some value to the community. Whether or not his contributions should be considered "extensive," I do often like the lighting choices made.

I have all three recent versions of this table (four counting future pinball). They all have benefits and disadvantages.

FP has great sound and scoring, but the physics are off, the graphics could be updated and whenever I enable the backglass it locks it to 60fps (without it I get 165fps)

the VR one from Retro27 has some interesting additions with the backglass reflection and scratched glass, but I had more problems with the apron and the ball getting stuck.
Bord's has a good look and physics, but I miss the scoring and music of the FP version (adding my own music with HiRezoo's script, still need to figure out the post it note script)
bigus1's has (IMO) improved lighting and with the older physics, seems a little easier to play.

I don't have a dog in this fight in regards to if he had permission prior, but I can understand the anger if he did not. Hopefully in the future it can be more of a collaborative effort. We are all here because we love this hobby.

Ok Wylte, you want to be made a fool.  Even with diffchecker, you failed to see the changes to the GI sub and blind Freddy could see the difference in attract mode from my 1.0 version, which I've been sharing from my Google Drive for years. Also, the timings of the GI lights have been corrected, which I doubt you understand either, and I often change code snippets like Ninuzzu ball shadows to my own preferred code, and remove invalid references of credit, so I assume that to be the case with the sound code, although I can't remember exactly in this case because I've done a hundred tables since then. But I'm not in the habit of stealing tables and trying (poorly) to disguise the fact, like you did with my Hook table. Accusing your enemies of doing what you are doing is very much how a certain dictator currently operates. You have no moral grounds to be attacking me, thief.

And just to reiterate, because you seem unable to understand - this mod was done with bord's permission and originally hosted at vpinball, which went belly-up, through no fault of my own. I have no presence elsewhere, so here it is. And I tried to engage the author of FH, but he chose to ignore me because he's one of your mob, no doubt, and having fulfilled my responsibility regarding attempted contact, I proceeded according to the rules.

You're credited for Hook, and I wasn't even in VPW when they made it. There is a detailed changelog in there if you want to verify that.

That's just too many tables, then :P And I can see and understand the code, but without going back and checking, it doesn't result in it *looking* different enough from the attract in Bord's, which, not knowing about your 1.0, I assumed you were working directly from (see next).

Edit:  I went back and checked and no, the GI subs are not different across the two versions.  Except for code referencing primitives and insert blooms in Bord's version, they are the same.

Oh, is that what your comment meant? "This was the last table posted at vpinball, with permission and first review from bord." I took that to mean Bord's was uploaded with permission to mod as long as he got to review it. Well, I'll admit when I'm wrong; if this is an update to *your* mod from vpinball, then a lot more of what you've been saying makes sense. I'll have to take you at your word about that, since all I heard from Bord was the "no" and I was just getting into VP when vpinball went down. If that is true (and you could have saved a lot of time and bickering by being more communicative and providing receipts like I did):

I'm sorry I accused you of modding this table without permission.

Curiosity got the better of me and I downloaded bord's version to see if the GI lights are the same. As I suspected, they're not. Intensities and timings are different. Plus there are other related changes that I've made that aren't present.  However, I did discover something very curious :-

VP10.7 has a nifty new feature that timestamps the latest revision automatically and adds it to the table info. It seems bord's 2020 re-upload was revised about 5 hours after this version was published (which is also timestamped "literally hours" before I published)

Just in case there were lingering doubts about who's telling the truth :)

I was looking at an older version, and anyone can check the 2021 VR port by Sixtoe if they want to follow up on what I've posted.  Anyway, I've edited my previous comments.  I was coming at this from a place of righteous anger, but I still only ever want to present the facts as best I can.

For future reference Wylte - I'd be a fool to make claims that I can't substantiate when I have a flock of swirling vultures watching my every move, waiting for a stumble so they can pounce.  There's also a lot of minor stuff that I do on tables that doesn't rate a mention from me most of the time, which I can highlight when push comes to shove. Even with this table, I haven't fully disclosed the changes - backup ammo, if you like.

Feel free to remove all that erroneous clutter from my review pages.

Excellent table! I love this on my "good" system, but I am also running this on a very low-end PC and need to lower some graphic settings in order to hit 60 fps.  I want to disable ball reflections and have done so globally in the main video settings, but still see the reflection of the lights on the ball.  I have also tried editing the ball, but it still gets the lighting reflections on to it (the reds at the top of the playfield, and the blue down by the flippers).  Another similar table where I am having this issue is Earthshaker, which is also the Bigus mod.  Does anyone have any advice on being able to reduce those reflections in order to gain performance?

Thank you!

The bulb intensity in the ball options is for reflections :) The ball won't interact with the table lights and looks fake if you remove them entirely.

Thanks for the FlexDMD addition Scutters and Bigus. It looks great with Hauntfreaks b2s with full dmd, although I don't use the full dmd part. Rather I use Scutters FlexDMD on my PinDMD3.
