Initial announcement from Jeff:
Nip-It (Bally 1973)
https://www.ipdb.org...ine.cgi?id=1680
Ok, here's a surprise one that never got released due to someone dropping off the face of the earth. Got tired of waiting so here it is. Hauntfreaks did the images, lighting etc. I did the table build and scripting.
ZIP includes backglass and wheel
My view on Nip-It:
I have a close relationship to this game. In the late 70's I supported a schoolfellow in buying this game. I'll never forget how 4 young man slaved to get the machine to 4th floor.... Now I love to play the VPX version. I offer you here "my" Version 1.0b.
I made the following changes:
- new physic (cab optimized) I changed nearly everything
- slight layout change -> better play appeal when the flipper fingers are closed
- the screws are now on the bumper caps in the right positions
- many new (nearly all) sounds and sound sequencing e.g. gate, stand up targets, kicker holes ....
- randomize for angle and force for the kicker holes
- improved ball and ball position in the plunger lane
- new timing for ball release
- new POV for cab use
Version 1.0c
- all object sounds in operation
- new appearance for the kicker cups
- ZIP contains game, BG, Wheel and cab pics
All this in kind tribute to Jeff Whitehead.

Thanks, great lookin' table!
looks so good thank you
I have this table so it'll be great to compare the 'updates' to the prior version!
Thanks for table! great physics and lighting, but i think Haunt has better assets (playfield, saucers and nip-it contraption) over here:
https://vpuniverse.c...ly-1973-hf-mod/
any chance you can re-collab?

The famous pinball from Arnold's Diner on Happy Days gets the Midas touch. Thanks Mustang!
