Special thanks to Pachecas and pedator for testing the table.

Just a note about this table, in the IPDB the table is listed as "Black and Reed" due to an error in the backglass artist who misspelled Red and wrote Reed : :) The table went to production with the misspelled backglass :) Akiles decided to correct the error in this virtual version.

What's New in Version 6.0.0 (See full changelog)

  • 6.0.0 Updated September 2025
  • - Moved LUT to User Options (F12)
  • - Added some extra options to the User Options (F12)
  • - Updated physics to my latest rev 4.3.1. mostly bouncier rubbers and harder flippers.
  • 5.5.0 Updated 11.12.2024
  • - New playfield mesh to avoid the ball getting stuck on top of the flippers.
  • - Fixed my ball spin control, which were too aggressive, and it killed the ball's acceleration, making the ball too slow, getting stuck on ramps, and also being unable to climb the ramps on many tables.
  • - Updated for VPX8 (adjusted reflections, equirectangular ball, linked flashers to lights, incandescent lights)
  • - Updated physics to my Rev3. Including physics materials, flipper code and slingshot shapes.
  • - Updated LUT images and display system, 10 darker shades and 10 warmer shades.
  • - some graphical changes (playfield mesh with holes, metal wall guides, lights warmer)
  • - added a screenshot for scutters file explorer handler
  • 4.3 Updated 24.11.2023
  • - Added the missing rolling sounds.
  • - Updated physics to my Rev3. Including physics materials, flippers and slingshot shapes.
  • - Updated LUT images, 10 shades and 10 warmer shades.
  • - Updated to my latest set of mechanical sounds.
  • 4.0.0 Updated 9.9.2022
  • - Updated to my VPX7 physics
  • - cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
  • - Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
  • - Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
  • - Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
  • - Made the light inserts warmer.
  • 1.0.2 Updated 11.02.1022
  • - DOF config added by outhere and leeoneil
  • 1.0.1 Updated 10.11.2021
  • - adjusted the highscore timer so it doesn't make the ball stutter during play.
  • 1.0.0 Released 09.11.2021

The highscore timer in the Knock Out table is good. The stuttering must come from other places.

Merci quand même (comme c est la seule table qui me pose ce souci , je pensais que cela venait de là)

Pas grave
Bonne journée et encore merci

Wowsers, love this table. Simple and fun. Beginning to have a fonder appreciation for EM tables. Thank you sir for your work and efforts in sharing this table with us.

Another great table. Thanks!

Hi. Rolling Ball Sound is missing and I noticed you did an update to Black Pyramid 4.0.1 that was missing it. I replaced with sounds from one of your current updates and that seem to work. Also, graphical twitch is occurring on the right side of circle ball corral under the balls on playfield. This one though may be due to the graphic card being used. An AMD 6600. Thanks for you great work.

Thanks!

Thanks JP! Looks awesome!

Thank you for the beautiful table. The playability is wonderful as always.
After you reach a special on the middle target, the light stays on and you can win unlimited free spins. Is that really how it should be?
