Excellent! Never thought I would see this In VPX.

Another beautiful table! Love the lighting and the backglass, and it plays very well! Easy to see playfield, crisp! Thank you!

very nice sir :-)

table crashes on boot up says: line: 556  objected required: 'Controller'

Again a fabulous piece of history preserved by Goldchicco and JPSalas, thanks!

This table is going in my PinballX favorites at 1.0. Played a few games and I love it.

  • Kicker physics are as "real" as I've seen them

  • Haven't checked where the sounds come from (ROM | script) but they're what the kids call "ear milk"

  • No errors thrown in 10.7 R270

  • Lighting and textures are spot-on, pleasing to the eye

  • Center target plastic is facing upwards unlike some real-life versions (non-SS, but same game)

Having a cookout later, and there's a fella who loves this specific type of Americana. Maybe I'll finally have a real life friend get hooked on pinball thanks to the best Iron Man Iron in the VP scene and Mr. JP Salas!

Trust me I reported to @Arestis the center plastic was pointing in the wrong direction, but I can't be thankful enough to him to redraw the entire set just watching YouTube videos of this table.
So for this time we will give him a break and hopefully he (or someone else good with PS) will touch up the center plastic and send ne the "update" ;-)
Thank you for your feedback, really appreciated it

I'm a bit confused about the classification of this game as SS due to the release date.

I always thought that "Spirit of 76" from Mirco Games was the first SS in 1976.

I always thought that "Spirit of 76" from Mirco Games was the first SS in 1976.

This is definitely an SS release from 1974 according to IPDB.
Possible since it was released only in 17 units that is considered a prototype.
I can't tell.
Anyway Spirit of 76 was released in October 1975, so the first SS pinball machine release year is 1975 (less than one year later) and not in 1976.

Anyone else have an issue where the only key that starts a game is "1"?  The table doesn't seem to recognize a different mapped key in VPX for me.
