Gottlieb & Company (1931-1977) [Trade Name: Gottlieb] Date Of Manufacture: March, 1947 Model Number: E Type: Electro-mechanical (EM) Posted Image Production: 3,500 units   (confirmed) Serial Number Database: View at The Internet Pinball Serial Number Database (IPSND.net)  (External site) Theme: Beach - Boating - High Diving - Recreation - Swimming - Water - Women Specialty: Flipperless Posted Image Notable Features: Passive bumpers (14), Kick-out holes (4). Backglass light animation.

In the backglass light animation, Maisie climbs the ladder as the player hits the "Advance" rollovers or drops a ball into a kickout hole. When Maisie is at the top of the ladder, the two white bumpers at bottom-center will light. Rolling through the rollover between these bumpers steps Maisie down into the pool, awards a replay and 10,000 points, and lights all four kickout holes for replays.

What's New in Version 1.1 (See full changelog)

  • This version 1.1 is more challenging than the previous one where it was very easy (in my opinion) to get replays.

Thanks, Francisco! I used to know a girl named Maisie.

Can you help me figure out how to re-size this table? For my cab, the playfield is shifted way down so I can't see the flippers (or where the flippers would be) while there's tons of open space on top. Do you know how to do FP's equivalent of VPX's X Offset in Interactive edit Mode?

I am sorry, licwip. "Maisie" is a flipperless pinball. In 1947 the first one with flippers was "Humpty Dumpty".Then many others added flippers to those like "Maisie" and they are called retro-flippered pinballs and flippers were put in very unusual parts of teh playfield.

I love the table!  I am running it on a cabinet and can't remove the backglass from the top left of the playfield though.  Any way to do this?

Thanks!

OK I was able to drag the backglass away on the translite setting.  The problem now is that the backglass that I just removed was live while the backglass on my cabinet is static.  Any way to correct this? Thanks!

Hola Stephen:

I wouldn't know how to do it because I don't know how a cabinet works.

When I started with my recreations I realized that it was easier for a player to look at the backglass at the same time he was playing; the way that former VP recreation did it.
