Shovel Knight Wizball RusstyT VP10.7 Original

Screenshots
VP 10.7 is required to play this game. This game is fully scripted and requires no ROM. This desktop version forces off the backglass in line 11 of the script as as detailed below. The game and backglass are included in the download and the EM reels are set to visible for desktop use. The rules for the modes and bonuses are on the Apron rule Cards. All credit to Wizball for creating a very clever smooth running game game and thanks of course to him for helping me during the mod. This game is fast flowing game so you will have to refer to the apron rules and hints at some time. The full rule set is in Wizballs original post if you would like to see these.  I hope I've created a mod that is fitting of this table.
For desktop players open the game in edit mode and check that the preferences are set for desktop mode. If this is the first time you are using VP7. ie. Video graphics has Cabinet mode deselected and Full Screen mode selected and in the key nudge preference ensure that B2S is deselected. Save and close and reopen.
If you are still having trouble seeing the score on the playfield then you do the following
Open the script, Line 11 says:
Const bAlwaysDisplayScore = False ' Always show the score on the playfield even if there is B2S
Make it say:
Const bAlwaysDisplayScore = True ' Always show the score on the playfield even if there is B2S

Mods in this table include;
New table graphics and plastics. I compiles using graphics from the Yacht Club and light and plastic techniques that I have been experimenting with.
New bumper and backdrop graphics
Character Lighting created to fit the 11 character silhouettes and lighting of the central shovel knight character illuminates the bottom playfield in conjunction with bumper GI.
Music has been allocated to the Backglass and table sounds added for the wire ramps, targets, kicker in and rolling ball wave files adjusted to -13dB to hear the ball roll.

If you have any technical question I will may need help to answer them as I am by no means a Virtual pinball expert.
Enjoy Wizball's fantastic game.

Hello newer1968. I am no expert in Virtual Pinball and every one seems to run a different setup. There are many better qualified to help you but IM happy to share what I did for my machine. This is the link to  VPX_7_beta_rev213_rc.zip 18.15 MB · 84 downloads  on VPUniverse and a link to it in VPForums below. Its important you read and follow the instructions.

Since uploading VPX7.1https://www.vpforums....tion=attach tach_id=32419 I haven't found a game that I haven't been able to play and it is stable and JP's swag of VPX7 tables are incredible.

I uploaded, VPX7, ( Save the old files to a folder and its pretty straight forward to go backwards if you want to)
I updated my DMD ext to Freezy v1.8 32 bit (The all in one loader has the extension .msi and I required the dmdext-1.8.0-x86-Release.msi for my Pin2DMD )  Colours are so vibrant now. https://github.com/f....ses/tag/v1.8.0. If you run a virtual DMD I think you use the 64bit version with the .msi extension.
I updated the B2S server 1.3.0.4https://www.vpforums....ay&section=dow nload&do=confirm_download&hash=2a152e8fb7e82a1cb06 5282aa2e280bf and I updated my screen text file in the VPinmame table folder as per outhere's recommendations (https://www.vpforums....=7#entry346276). Read that document to understand what you need for your setup.I set my screen text files assuming my backglass was the number 2 monitor but VPinMame doesn't use numbering the same as windows. My Back glass is now number 1 in the screen text file. That link explains what to do for your setup
For PUP games I updated to flex dmd https://github.com/vbousquet/flexdmd and I no longer have the clashes with Ultra DMD and windows.
Its all working fine and backwards compatible to all the games I have loaded on my machine.

Thanks so much for the feedback it is much appreciated particularly that I don't run DOF. What struck me about this table is how incredibly complicated the scripting is. The game concept and build is entirely credited to Wizball it is his table. I just did the graphics. I did this game makeover because I was thinking of building a game along the same lines. Im with you with the 8 bit sounds and retro feel. So Cool and the gameplay is quick and interesting. Cheers and all the best
