Growing up in Chicago and watching Mike in the 80’s… what a time to be alive!
First off I want to say thanks and give credit to Javier, Rascal, 32Assassin and anyone else I may have missed who contributed to bringing the MJ table to life. As much as I love the original graphics and Data East sound fx that were a sign of the times… I felt like the table needed a more modern update. I mean c’mon man, the GOAT won 3 more rings after the actual table released!
This release is not trying to improve the look of the actual table, but a rather a reimagining. So for all you pinball purists on the fence, give this a look, you just might dig it too. With that being said here are the changes in my take of Michael Jordan – Black Cat Edition!

- Full playfield graphics and lights layout and redesign
- Some plastics redrawn (under ramp and above right kicker) and added some newly designed ones (jumpman logo, dunk above right drop targets and right side red elephant print)
- Added several new pf lights/effects (spike’s glasses, 6 trophies and 3 bumpers)
- Repositioning of flashers, dome images/colors changed, additional scripted flasher fx and a new flasher (above plunger lane)
- Ramp prim removed and ramp redesigned in vpx
- Added some Fleep sounds, lots of other sound fx and sound bites (WARNING! A few have explicit language... pretty much MJ talking $hit)
- Added rubber pins to outlanes slightly narrowing gaps… those were brutal at losing balls
- Tweaked elasticity options to my preference
- Strengthened force of bumpers
- New B2S included

Thanks go ill, awesome stuff - really gives new life to this table.
One small issue I have is there are no slingshot sound effects on the table, from what I could see the script is missing them? There are callouts/bball sounds for the slingshots, just not the physical sounds for them. If anyone else has this and has a fix that would be awesome - I just can't workout in script the exact line to make it happen. Cheers

i 2 am having issues with the ROM, can anyone shed some light on this I have tried changing the name of the ROM zip and still does not work.
changed to Gamemj_130 and I have tired mj_130
Nice table how i change the ball to a basketball
Love this table.. beautiful art, lighting, the Jordan voice lines are awesome. “Stop it.. get some help” mid multiball the stuff he says when u drain.. just great man instant favorite
