*Latest version 1.3* Made to work with the Pinup Popper PUP Pack.
This table was created by using the Back to the Future table by cyberpez as a base. I changed graphics and some audio to make it look like the 1985 movie The Last Dragon. This is very much a WIP, so please don't roast me too hard! This is my very first attempt at a visual pinball table.
Version 1.2 - I added some music from the original soundtrack. Place the mp3 files in your Music folder in Visual Pinball. When you launch a ball the music will not automatically start playing. You need to hit the Right MagnaSave button to start the music. Hitting the Left MagnaSave button will stop the music. Hitting the Right MagnaSave button while music is playing will skip to the next track. 
I'm still working on the media pack. But you can find the Wheel icon in the downloads section.

  • 1.1 Changed some graphics and added music
  • 1.2 Fixed an issue with the next music track not starting after previous track finished
  • 1.3 *Table only* Pinup Popper optimized version, cleaned up some playfield graphics. Use 1.2 if you don't use Pinup Popper. HUGE shout out to John M. and everyone else at VP Nation on FB that helped make the PUPpack a reality!

cant find the rom which is there in the rom folder name bttf_a27l.zip not sure why?

please help?

 

So got it working.  Didnt create the alias properly in the vpmalias.txt file in the vpinmame folder

i'm using 1.3.  Got the puppack.  Made the alias that matches the game name in the script.  Still get the game name not found error.  even deleted the references in the registry to the rom.

When people are using the 1.3 verison of this table, are they seeing a generic ROM or something customized to this re-theme...

 

...OR are you seeing/hearing the original BTTF rom?

 

I'm still seeing the "First there was Back to the Future...." text at the beginning of each game and hearing all the original Data East BTTF sounds.   I can turn off those sounds in my F1 menu, but that causes my BTTF table to lose the sounds as well.

 

Any advice?

Sorry I'm still new to all of this but I can not get this table to load. I'm using 1.3 and when I launch it I get an error on line 190 saying game name not found. I also have the BTTF pup table as well which works just fine. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I can't tell what

bigant, open the VPMAlias.txt in C:\Visual Pinball\VPinMAME, add 'bttf_a27l,bttf_a27' (without the quotes) and save it.
