This fun table is from 32assassin and Coindropper.
I've continued the evolution of this table with a full
makeover and some gameplay enhancements.
4.0 is for 10.8/3.6 with a totally new miniDMD in the TV to replace the
no-longer-working previous design that relied upon an exploit to light-up.
Enjoy :)

What's New in Version 4.0 (See full changelog)

  • 1.0 New playfield, lights, lighting, layout, physics, graphics, materials, shadows
  • 2.0 Ditto plus sound and it's a lot livelier
  • 2.1 Bart animated
  • 3.0 Upper left flipper fixed, lights, physics, sound
  • 3.1 Playfield, lights, bumpers, physics, added another ball shadow
  • 3.2 Fixed left flipper sound/DOF, brighter TV
  • 4.0 New miniDMD for TV and better flashers

The table requires vp10.8 and vpm3.6 plus it may not work properly without the latest B2S server as well - even if you don't use a backglass, like me.  I can say that for a fact for some other tables, so it's best to update the backglass server anyway :)

How to increase volume of sound effects on this table? After openning coin door (with "end" key), pressing  9 decreases volume (instead increasing). and key 8 (which should decrease volume), adds credits...

Thanks!

hey, love the table and there's tons to do. I'm a big fan of the way the lighting turned out. But there's a game-breaking flaw that I found, the couch does not descend!! When the ball enters the couch, it seems like it is supposed to descend along the track and drop the ball back to the bottom flippers. But it's not doing anything. Even when I tilt out, the couch doesn't budge, and the ball stays in play even in the next game. I had some sort of Krusty timer active when the I hit the couch, so maybe that has something to do with it. Please fix!

EDIT: Yes, I have version 10.8 of VPX. ((v10.8.0 Beta [Rev. 2028 (6df0b45], Windows DirectX 64bits)). I also have VPinMAME 3.6.0.1167.78e8b9f (x64) from Nov 25 2024.
