Based on the Stern table The Avengers Limited Edition from 2012
Thanks to thalamus for the playfiedl 3D mesh with the hole and for testing.
I built the table from scratch and I also made the graphics using images from comics from the late 60's and early 70's. It it started when I talked to thalamus 2 weeks ago, and he played The Avengers and he liked a lot, so I thought I should play it too, but the best way for me to learn a table is to build it myself
There is already a nice Avengers table for VPX made by 32assassin, but I wanted to make a table with my own graphics, lighter than the real one, and I also wanted to make more visible some of the targets and lights. So I made a few changes to the layout. I also replace the bridge with a single gate which, when activated,will divert the ball to Hulk.
The table uses the Avengers LE ROM, get it from Stern, zip it, and rename the zip to avs_170h
Update 3.1.0: Thanks to Siggi for the new graphics, giving the table a more classic look.
Update 5.0.0 This update is only for VPX8, and there are too many changes only available in VPX8.

On v5 the cosmic cube keeps on spinning here (vpinball standalone macos), does not happen on the v4 version. As if there was no friction applied.

I've tried all versions of this game, deleting the nvram, downloading a new version of the rom from stern itself, it is the LE version not the pro and named, nvs_170h. Last I deleted the information from reg. still nothing. This table looks great even better than what it based off of and really want to add it to my Favs. So, any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Last I deleted the information from reg. still nothing. This table looks great even better than what it based off of and really want to add it to my Favs. So, any help would be appreciated. I can't speak for this particular table yet, but I just colorized 15 tables over the last few days and almost all of them give you the pinball not located error. The problem is every brand has quirky ways to fix it, but regardless, even when you delete the nvram, you still need to "Open the coin door" , usually by pressing the number keys on your keyboard. i think its 7 8 9 with 8 being the number that opens the coin door, you then need to use the number buttons around whatever button opens the coin door to go through all the selections and look for factory reset. select that. (Usually hitting the 1 key will select it) it will reset the rom back to factory settings., close the coin door by hitting the same number that opened it for you, and it will work. Some tables are strange, so Im pretty sure it was for the table "Diner" , in order to get the full color dmd to work, I had to go into the rom, by opening the coin door and turning on the "winners don't use drugs" message that plays on the rom in attrack mode. Sounds crazy, but i swear its true. lol. I would think for this , just open the coin door and reset it back to factory settings. good luck.

Very nice table. Anyway, the sound wen I push the left and right flip is very loud (Kind of Shhhhhh).
Any idea to disable it please? I can't find the line code in the script...

Were you able to get this resolved? I'm having the same problem right now. I've tried factory resetting the rom and it doesn't seem to work as when I do the factory reset it seems to just lock up the rom.
Also I guess I should mentino not it's not the exact same scenario as I'm trying to use avs_170c colored rom instead, but the same result as you is what I'm getting. Thanks,

Hello. Thanks for this great table .
But indeed, i got the same Shhhh,so loud I can't imagine play a whole game.
Since the last update, only the right flip creates that sound. Before this update, both o then made that noise.
I precise I don't have DOF, and I can't find this noise in the sound manager.
