Alfred Hitchcock Psycho ivantba original vpx

Screenshots
Alfred Hitchcock was the creator of the real psycho thrillers. During his extraordinarily talented career, he has shot many successful and classic films, but has undoubtedly burst with the Psycho for film fans.
The film is classic, as the actors do it masterfully. Legendary director, legendary movie, with legendary acting skills and scenes.
Although many parts followed, as many remakes have come to light, but they were all shadows of the predecessor. It is no exaggeration to say that the movie in 1960 is far ahead of its time...

Video of the gameplay:

So, a complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. Among others, the backglass (directb2s) file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)

Original (my resource) table:
Vortex v1.0.2

Thank you very much to JPSalas for allowing me to modify, re-theme his superb tables!

You can find the necessary rom file to start the table here (vortex.zip):

Important information about Taito system:

"The emulation of the Taito tables is a little different than other tables, and if you quit the table in the middle of a game, next time you restart the table it will continue that game.
And if you had some locked balls it may be possible that you wont get a new ball, to fix that you need to delete the nvram file (if available) from the NVRAM folder. I haven't found any other solution."

Thank's a lot !

Hi ivantba, I love your tables! Great Work! I am having an issue with the sound in them... I have 4 exciters set up and my back glass speakers. On most tables all music and voices and so on are routed to my back glass speakers and mechanical sounds are routed to my exciter speakers for vibration which is fine. For some reason on your tables the voices and music and so on are going to my exciter speakers and it is distorting them. Is there any way to fix this? Also if you are looking for a theme for your next awesome release have you considered a KISS theme based on their campy movie from the 70's called KISS Meets the Phantom? I think you would rock this theme and make it epic.

Thanks for all you do!

I noticed this as well, if you go into sound manager in VPX, you will see the output for all the sound files is set to Table.  You can go in and manually change what you want to go to backglass.  The biggest problem I have found so far though doing this with this table is a lot of the target/bumper sounds have voices attached to them, (which is awesome, but causes them to come out the Exciters instead of the backglass)

Very beautiful table, but the score board is not shown. Anyone could help me, please?

I downloaded both the table and rom, but having the issue when starting a game. It seems to load fine and could add a credit. When starting the game I receive the following error:
Runtime error
-------------
Line: 1

Within the script it highlights this portion: Option Explicit

I've downloaded the table multiple times and have tried various roms, just in case. Since it's an older table I tried to run on with VPX10.7.2
Any assistance would be appreciated!

I keep getting the following error:

This is the ONLY table that crashes.   I have 1,500 other tables that play fine.   I downloaded the correct 'Vortex" rom that was listed in the description, and even deleted the vortex.nv to do a system reset, and still nothing.     Any ideas?    Beautiful looking table, and I can not wait to try it.

For those who encounter the famous error

Don't forget to download the table ROM : (vortex.zip) https://www.vpforums...ds&showfile=567

And above all, make these changes in the script

Open the table script, and starting on Line 295 you will see this...

SolCallback(7) = "dtbank1..SolHit 1,"
SolCallback(8) = "dtbank1..SolHit 2,"
SolCallback(9) = "dtbank1..SolHit 3,"
SolCallback(10) = "dtbank1..SolHit 4,"
SolCallback(11) = "dtbank1..SolHit 5,"

You need to remove one of the periods between dtbank1..SolHit 1 on each Line for SolCallback7 through 11. (Lines 295 through 299)

So it will look like this when you are done...

SolCallback(7) = "dtbank1.SolHit 1,"
SolCallback(8) = "dtbank1.SolHit 2,"
SolCallback(9) = "dtbank1.SolHit 3,"
SolCallback(10) = "dtbank1.SolHit 4,"
SolCallback(11) = "dtbank1.SolHit 5,"
