Nice Work! Since were talking Data East. Could you please look at DE Guns N Rose's Table and put some of your magic on it. It could use Some work from what I been told by a friend that has a good eye for detail on tables .Thanks

Just played a few GNR, never really given it a go before and never played the real deal. I gotta ask, is it meant to be that hard to hit anything?

I spent a lot of time hitting nothing and I can say with authority that JP's CueBall Wizard was damn close to the mark. It (GNR) seems unusually frustrating and I wondered if it's meant to be that way.

This is what Jamal noticed with GnR . Hes a newbie author
Still learning. He does good work on lighting etc. Has a good eye for detail
Hope this helps. Appreciate it if you can work on it. I own the machine. And hope it gets the Love it deserves. Jamal and I are big fans of the band and machine.. Make Slash Proud . This could be why
Shots are hard.

Lower play-field dimensions to be corrected (ie flippers, apron etc all moved down to reveal Axl's neck banner and the girls on either side)

- 2 spotlights missing in the upper play-field area

- More depth/higher sidewalls to the G and R ramps

- Slight bend to the G ramp in the southern corner

- 2 railings missing near the top flipper

- All images enhanced to 4k

- Reflective sidewalls

- Back-wall flashers corrected

- Play-field object reflections

- Top flipper made more distinct from the wall beneath
Jamal noticed this too

Banner beneath Axl's neck is currently hidden (looks like the apron, flippers etc all need to be moved down)

BIGUS1 I appreciate if you can work on this table
No other Authors want to give it any love. I have asked and put out the suggestions that Jamal noticed and no one wants to touch it. And we mean
No Disrepect to the Authors that worked hard on the
Table. Not here to criticize anyones work. I thought if anyone noticed
Stuff on a table to let it be known. Anyways Bigus1 if this
Work u are able to do what all it needs. Iam willing to pay you
For your time and services. This machine is my favorite
In my collection. Like to see the love it deserves. Thanks

@ gregh43.  Thanks fo the shout out and for raising GNR.  Lol I am definitely no author though, just a VP noob fiddling and poking around haha.

@ bigus1.  Thank you for taking the time to look into GNR.  If you are able to make any improvements that would be awesome!  My limited capabilities are already tapped out.  This recent VPX version was made by Team PP/JPJ and they did a FANTASTIC job so far, and they also used Mr JPSala's script and if I am not mistaken elements from Lord Hiryu so in a sense GNR is like an evolving community project.

I could see a lot of changes that would be good, but I don't want to depart from reality too much, so thanks for the info and I'll give it a whirl and keep it hard. The group project comment explains some mysteries, though :) And thanks for the history, I'm not out to steal anyone's thunder.

BTW, I'm very much a newbie myself. Seems I have a knack. I won't leave you hanging.

@ bigus1.  You certainly do have a knack for it my guy, I really like your work so far, thank you for adding your magic touches!  Yeah if you are able to do any improvements to GNR that would be awesome!  Imho the #1 main issue is the apron and flippers are slightly too high and covering Axl's neck banner plus the girls on either side on the playfield graphic.  This is easiest seen from a birds eye view when comparing a real GNR table to the VPX version - a good reference I found is the PAPA GNR videos on YouTube.  Following that the GNR table has no black sidewalls.  Also the G and R ramps need a bit more depth too and from what I can tell plus on real tables the G-ramp looks to have a bend in the southern corner area.  I hear you about the thunder but it's nothing about that, those who have done the heavy lifting so far have done an excellent job and it all adds up collectively.  Ultimately the way I see it it's about creating the best digital GNR table recreation as close to the real table as possible for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks Bigus1 Appreciate you looking into GnR table. Hope you will take it on And add your magic too it. Whatever you can contribute is a start. I dont see it anyway as someone stealing anyones thunder. I give credit to all the Great Authors that made GnR possible. Sorry too many names to mention. Big Thanks to JP Salas for the "Brain" of Gnr . The Scripting that is. Jamal is also owed Thanks for pointing out the needed work and tweaking work on GnR.

Ok, watched some vids and even the better players did seem to have a hard time.  One that you need to master slowly. Things could be worse. Also couldn't help but notice the bloody big mirror on the back. I tried to make one for Hook but it's not great , so I've actually been searching for another mirrored table for a second try. My personal version will get one anyway.

So, I'm already into it and I'll give it my best shot :)

@ gregh43.  Thanks my guy you are too kind but full credit to those who did the hard work and crave that sort of thing from others.  Deadass real talk the only credit I care about is that which I can spend.  If I cannot spend it it is worthless to me lol.
