Streets of Rage SOR vpx original IVANTBA

Hello everyone! I'm Ivantba, from Hungary. I'm also a fan of pinball games. I'm delighted to see how sensational Visual Pinball X tables has been made in recent years.
Well, my works are table variations/costumizations, which in this case are based on the theme of Streets of Rage game.

Video of the gameplay:

A complete multimedia package is included with the compressed file. PinballX desktop and cabinet files (audio, pictures, flyers, instruction cards, wheel, etc.)

Important note: Streets of Rage.UltraDMD folder (with ultradmd files) are placed in the following folder: Visual Pinball\Tables

Original (my resource) table: Metal Slug v1.03
Author(s): Brendan Bailey (Pinwizkid), Javier

I hope you like this costumized table... I wish you a good game! Oh, and sorry for my bad english:)

What's New in Version 1.3 (See full changelog)

  • I replaced all the transparent lighting buttons.
  • The playfiled also got a bit of a visual change.

Hi good Mod. I don't see my point. Only when i finish the game. In udmd i see only Street of rage logo, on b2s screen there is no point =(

Hello! I'm glad if You like it. So, "The score displays on the B2S Backglass as in the original Metal Slug table. If you are a desktop user, then the score/highscore display will be in the text box above the table (again as in the original Metal Slug table)

High score will display on the DMD after the games is finished. There is a 36 second delay in order to make sure that the end credits or any easter egg video has finished playing BEFORE the DMD will go back into the attract mode."

no score is showing on my b2s,  any suggestions the numbers bar doesn't eve light up.  I have the soa table that the numbers show up on the backglass and the ultra dmd show the videos, it is built on the same design and the metal slug does the same and show the numbers.

has anyone ever mentioned quality over quantity ?

I mean, good on you for making tables, but they're just the same tables all the time with different skins.

Don't mean to be rude, just don't know any other way to say it.

Hello CJS! When I uploaded this table last summer, it is possible that the quantity has gone to the detriment of quality :) Many people have told me they love my new table mods, so it was time to upgrade some older ones... Otherwise, THX for the comment.

Hello rx2006je! I'm working on the matter... Soon it is possible that the new update will fix the problem.

I solved the text display on the backglass! Now you can see the scores!

I would recommend you look into properly route sounds in Sound Manager. Every time you update a table, we require to figure out which sounds are supposed to play on "Table" and which ones on "Backglass". This is an issue that particularly affects anyone running SSF. If you just look into this when you first create/skin a table, you (and us) never have to touch this with subsequent updates.

Same goes to enabling fast-flips: most roms you use support fast-flips, which should be enabled when you first publish a new mod.

Lastly, I noticed that at least on one table, you wipe the Registry settings for UltraDMD. Please, please do not do that as it affects the UltraDMD configuration system-wide. Even if you feel inclined to do so, and read and save the existing values to be then re-applied at table exit, keep in mind that, sometimes, front ends "kill" the table thus not allowing such values to be re-applied. This is yet something else I need to go through every time you update an ultraDMD table (I believe you like to force virtual DMD on).

I hope this helps.

Hello psmiraglia! Thanks for the helpful advice.
You should know that I have not changed anything in the original Metal Slug Script. I only replaced the parts of the text (for SOR), so the basic settings of the Metal Slug ultradmd will prevail.
