Here is the VPX 10.4 rebuild of Bally's Creature From The Black Lagoon from 1992.
Credits:
fuzzel - main table build, scripting, lighting and physics
flupper1 - plastic ramps and chasing lights, lighting effects
rothbauerw - scripting, lighting and physics tweaks
randr - tons of resources and support
clarkkent - hires resources
hauntfreaks - playfield image cleanups
I want to thank all of you guys! It was a pleasure to work with you on this project and without all the support and help the table wouldn't be like it is now.
At the beginning of the script you can tweak some options to your liking:
chaselightsintensity = 0.5 ' usable range is 0.5 - 1
chaselightsbloom = 1 ' 0 or 1 (0 for less bloom, 1 for more bloom)
indirectlightsintensity = 1 ' usable range is 0.5 - 1
shadowopacity = 90 ' usable range is 0 - 100 (90 default)
bumperslit = 0 ' 0 or 1 (0 bumpers without lights (original), 1 bumpers with lights
fslutfading = 1 ' 1 enables GI lut fading for full screen, 0 to disable
dtlutfading = 0 ' 1 enables GI lut fading for desktop, 0 to disable

What's New in Version 1.3 (See full changelog)
- v1.3
- - add missing gate for switch sw18
- v1.2
- - removed old testing code to fix showing the creature accidantlly
- - activate ball shadow
- - add Arngrim's DOF changes to the script
- v1.1 one lighting issue fixed
- v1.0 initial version
Left flipper stops the ball.
* Setting in script (line 24 Ball Control) needs to be set to false.
Keep getting errors about solcall backs. I'm not running any DOF toys. How do I just run this without solenoids and stuff
Another great table from a master! Love the plastics, amazing. Great fun, great joy! ![]()
Here is your table in my desktop FX3 surroundings.

Greetz.
Fantastic table, thank you very much.
Is it normal that there is no mechanical sound? The sound manager is completely empty.
im having an issue with this table and only this one. as soon as i press the left flipper the ball stops dead press the flipper again and the ball starts moving again. help lol
Thanks for all your hard work!
First, thank you for your hard work, the table looks great.
I have been having the same issue as a commenter above mentioned where the left flipper pauses the ball. I also have this issue on another table, Bride of Pinbot. All of my other VPX tables (just 12 or so) work correctly. I used the fix suggested by another user, setting manual ball control to "false", and this resolved the problem for this table (looks like Bride of Pinbot will require more careful reading of the script). This fixes the problem when I run the table, and it plays great, but when I quit VP and save the Black Lagoon table, I cannot reload it ("error loading...").
Any thoughts?
Cheers
This table is quite beautiful, thank you very much.
tkx a lot

@Mirkin,
Try and lower the Elements Detail Level slider on the main users customization options page, run it to min just to see if it fixes it, may be a little too much of a table for a lower pc or video card. If fixes at min, then raise it till acts up, then back off a little. Note it's the top slider in the pic, not the highlighted setting...
