Diner for VPX. Many thanks to: Tamoore, Bodydump, Ben Logan, George and Clark Kent.
Tips:
Contrast can be changed in-game with MagnaSave keys
table is angle-dependent to some degree, so in both FS and DT view, perspective changes result in artefacts on the transparent ramps
use day/night slider with care, due to many unlit primitives (better use ContrastSetting variable in script)
When using GlowBats and GlowBall, you can lower the day/night slider a lot
Many options in the beginning of the script
For best performance and stutter free experience, these are my settings:
- FPS limiter/sync 1 and Maximum pre-rendered frames 1
- Force exclusive fullscreen (otherwise I get ball stutter with a directb2s)
Requires VPX 10.2, Please let me know if there are any issues.
In the permission to MOD I ask that you contact me first, as I am really curious what you want to change. If I like the changes, I will ofcourse add them to this release.

This usually means that the rom is missing or is not correct. Are other tables working for you? Have you installed the latest vpinmame?
yes, other tables work normal, strange, I use vpinmame 3.1, I do not know what else to do
Are you using exclusive fullscreen in VPX video settings? Then you would need to either disable that or set DDraw = 0 in the registry.
Potential other cause: you could delete the nvram file in the rom directory, maybe that helps?
If this does not help, then please post your question in this support thread for Diner:

You are now posting this in the "review" part of the download page, your post does not show up in the homepage view. If you are using the support thread it will, so more people can join in in helping you. I see your question because I get a notification when someone adds a re view here.
This table is amazing, thank you.
I originally reported this file as broken because the ROM file would not load. My apologies to the author. The file is not broken. Turns out it was the ddraw setting in the ROM's registry. This has been corrected and the pinball machine plays beautifully on my cabinet. Very nice job.
Very nice and on of the best playing and most responsive tables in my collection !
Great job !
So stoked to play this table, heads and shoulders above the rest. But....if the ball goes up a ramp, the crossroads is where it stays. Nothing around the ball is collidable, I'm stumped. Any enlightenment to add to my slowly growing base of vp knowledge is eagerly anticipated.
Great table\ on a super budget PC. Quality work!
I LOVE this one. Plays the best of the virtual machines in my collection, there's no lag at all.
Great work !
Stir that cup !
(oops I already reviewed this one :-) Not sure if I can delete this review..
Well this table deserves all the positive reviews it can get..
