Download Slotted Screw (Flat head screw driver)

screw 3d primitive mesh
Flat Head Screw 3D by: Dark
See the screen shot of the 3D render to see the difference in the mesh's.
So borgdog requested a screw with a flathead screw driver slot so that I've done!
There are 4 versions of the mesh, a high poly (just under 2k faces so render static for sure) a lower poly version that's 550 faces and still retains some smoothing and a third version which is 484 faces but lacks smooth edges. The fourth version is the lowest poly at 244 faces. I added the fourth one in last minute just in case someone wants it lower poly. I know I probably made more versions than necessary but I figured this would just have all bases covered and you guys (authors) can figure out what works best.
The screw model has good topology since it has good edge flow and edge loops. So using the smoother versions will catch light better with rounded edges but at the cost of using more geometry.
Included is a texture map provided by borgdog, this map will work with all versions of the model and can be replaced by what ever map you choose so long as it's the same dimensions. You should note that the map is not perfectly round so the model lines up a bit higher from center in order for the slot portion to line up. I don't think you'll even really need a texture map with VPX lighting but you can always enhance the model with texture mapping of your own making.
Use freely.
