vpx harlem globetrotters
A few notes about the table:
- This table is dedicated to my dear friend from Argentina Jolo (playcade), he asked me to build this table for VPX, so this weekend I took my old table and rebuild it for VPX, removed much of the old code, and in less than two days the table was ready. VPX really makes it easier to build tables
- Thanks to Noah Fentz for the pictures of the plastics.
- This table uses the 7 digits ROM bootleg as default, you need both roms: hglbtrtr.zip and hglbtrtb.zip
- I have added 2 extra graphics for the bumpers and droptargets. On some tables I have seen the red and blue exchanged in the bumpers and droptargets. So if you prefer the another color you may exchange the images, but you will need to do it in the editor
- There is also a basketball. So if you prefer to play with a ceramic ball that looks like a basketball, then in the editor you need to assign the graphics "BlackBall" to the Ball Image, and "basketball" to the Decal.

What's New in Version 6.0.0 (See full changelog)
- 6.0.0 Updated September 2025
- - Moved LUT to User Options (F12)
- - Added some extra options to the User Options (F12)
- - Updated physics to my latest rev 4.3.1. mostly bouncier rubbers and harder flippers.
- 5.5.0 Updated 12.12.2024
- - New playfield mesh to avoid the ball getting stuck on top of the flippers.
- - Fixed my ball spin control, which were too aggressive, and it killed the ball's acceleration, making the ball too slow, getting stuck on ramps, and also being unable to climb the ramps on many tables.
- - Updated for VPX8 (adjusted reflections, equirectangular ball, linked flashers to lights, incandescent lights)
- - Updated physics to my Rev3. Including physics materials, flipper code and slingshot shapes.
- - Updated LUT images and display system, 10 darker shades and 10 warmer shades.
- - some graphical changes (playfield mesh with holes, metal wall guides, lights warmer)
- - added a screenshot for scutters file explorer handler
- 4.0.0 Updated 28.9.2022
- - Updated to my VPX7 physics
- - cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table
- - Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- - Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- - Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- - Some small small script updates, like the Rolling sound and PlaySoundAt routines.
- - Made the light inserts warmer.

I solved the problem with the backglass but I still have the same problem with roms folder.....
thank you very much anyway
You have installed the VP INSTALLER, so you can go to the vpinmame folder and Doble CLICK the SET UP icon. to install it. (may be the Vpinmame folder is into the Visual Pinball folder)
Once you run this, press INSTALL.
You can check the rom path, if it is the same that you have, so that VPinmame can find the roms. It is similar to Mame.
If mame has the path : c:/mame/roms / galaga and you put the roms in other directory, Mame wont "see" the roms.
Well, In Vp & Vpin mame, is the same. If you have installed the vpinmame Roms in C:/ Programs Files/ Visual Pinball/Vpinmame/ roms and the path in the window above isnt the same, it wont run:
Look this picture from the web:
https://www.google.c...=zcHb35tceLP08M:
The first button is INSTALL. You must install it once.
The 3rd button is SET UP PATHS. Check your paths for roms.
Visual pinball works asociated with vpinmame.
VP needs de vp tables files (unzipped) into TABLES folder, and Vpinmame needs the roms of the same machine (zipped) into the roms Folder.
Try that and dont give up! ![]()
Let me know how it goes!
I spent 4 hours for nothing. It's impossible for me to succeed
don't wanna waste anymore time
I really don't understant why the creators didn't make something easier
really upset
thanks
bye
Well, it is a pity! Im sorry!

Persevere and succeed!!! ![]()
You can modify the table´s inclination (SLOPE) in order to make the gameplay slower or faster.
Load the table (DONT RUN IT), and press the OPTIONS button at the left column. The options will show up at the right of the screen . Into DIMENSIONS AND SLOPE, you can change SLOPE MIN and SLOPE MAX (put the same number in both parameters)...Generally, the SLOPE is between 5 and 6,5.
If we have a SLOPE= 5, you can try 4,5, in order to slower the ball speed (less inclination). If it is 6, change to 5...
When you get the value that you like, save changes when you close the table.
There is a lot of tables to play, not only Globetrotters. You can find them here in VP FORUMS!!!
Abrazo Grande y que lo disfrutes!!!

Did you install vp installer? if so, you can double click the vp9 launcher, and try the harlem and dolly vp9 versions...
This is the Harlem globetrotters VP9:
http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=2622
The vp9 tables are TABLENAME.VPT .... The extension is .vpt (visual pinball table) Must be launched with VP9XX emulator...diferent to: tablename.vpx (visual pinball 10) (X=10 in roman numbers)
The vpt files tables dont run from vp10 emulator.
The vpx files tables dont run from vp9 emulator.
So, try that vp9 harlem table version launching it with VP9. Search the .exe icon for the vp9 into your vp directory. When you installed VP INSTALLER, it installed VP9, VPX, PM5, etc.
I know this is a little confussing.
Here you are the list of vp9 tables, for 1 monitor, in DT mode (DESKTOP). You can search and DL the table you want, by the alphabet that appears above:
