Most frustrating.... I can't start the game with the start button and have tried every button on the keyboard.  Nothing works.   What is the solution?   Thanks.

Starts with 1 on my end. Maybe delete your nvram cpthook.

Same thing. Cant start - nothing showing for credits either. I hear it .. flippers move - i dont know why they should ..

{update] The vpinmame didnt recognize or work with the programmed "atariansb" rom. It started with the "atarians" rom.

Now it gets stuck in the kickout holes - and it kicks balls out before I even start the game :-(

I think this is more a problem with Atari games in general rather then this particular table.

I see that in version 1.1, I am no longer having problems with the game starting. :-)  The plunger needs some adjustment because when the ball comes out, it sometimes can't get out of the gate because the plunger is too far forward and the ball is running into it.   The plunger needs more power as the ball can barely make it to the top.

I have a cabinet and below are some settings that I think made the table look better

Inclination           12

Field of View        0

Layback             44

XY Rotation     270

X Scale               1.85

Y Scale               2.1

Z Scale               1

X Offset        -1875

Y Offset           275

Z Offset               0

I found that it didnt warn me I was missing the rom :-) The rom dboy points to is not the one he is using in the table - unless I really messed myself up :-)

I think there are a few better images out there that can help improve this table. I will give your settings a try as well.

I usually don't point to roms because I never remember exactly where I got the one I'm using. I picked a stupidly complex one to start... duh. I think I (a couple years ago) copied a bin file into the rom zip from a working Atari and made it work, don't honestly remember and won't be linking any future roms ;)

Plunger, yes, asleep at the wheel on that one... I do notice a difference in good settings on Zeb plunger vs key but that one is silly.

Layback I disagree but is a matter of taste... I'm trying to distinguish the look of a widebody from the rest. I think Hauntfreaks turned me on to the idea and after playing a few widebodies in real life and then going back to the virtual they looked stretched and funky. To each his own. 1.2 will address plunger and add backdrop to help make wideness more palatable.

...and if you're offering better resources...

That was the problem for me... I was using the wrong rom.  It only works with the one already defined in the script, which is atarianb.

Why is 1 for coin in and 3 starting a game?

I converted it to DT for myself but yeah rom/nvram issues, LOL

Just converted the 2009 16:9 one too, and it worked right off the bat with no issues and I swear it looks better.
