Update 02/14: Move B2S files to own subfolder and run 'new' B2S setup
 
Note: Download (from github) https://github.com/v...-.VPX8setup.exe or pick VPX80setup.z01/z02 (and rename to VPX8setup.zip.001/zip.002 so that you can unzip) if you're not sure which one to download, as this is the latest one.
 
All-in-one (almost) installer (VPX10.8.0, VP10.7.4, VP9.9.5c, VP9.9PM5(updated Plunger/Accel/Surround MOD)b, VP9.2.1, VP8, VPM3.6, DMDext, FlexDMD, X/UltraDMD, B2S, Core.vbs scripts). Open the zip, run the .exe, enjoy.

The table (Ripley's Believe It or Not!) and the table (Simpsons Kooky Carnival) crash all the time for me (I use Visual Pinball 10.7.2) : I don't understand why. The table don't crash if I edit the table before lauching (right click and Edit), but if I double-click for launch it crash. All others tables works well. Any idea ?

--> Solution : I updated Nvidia driver for my graphic card, and it's ok now !

DEV Team, I am noticing something strange in the 10.7.2 release full install. I can't seem to get the "Sound Manager" and "Image Manager" pop up windows to open. I click on them and they do nothing. The remainder to the "Manager" items seem to be ok. I'm on Windows 10 OS Build 19042.2251. Has anyone else reported this strange issue?

Looks like the 10.7.2 setup is wrong, it puts the b2s stuff in the wrong folder.

As per documentation of the new b2s server, it is supposed to work, but there are errors installing it presently using this installer.

Hola,soy nuevo, estoy intentando instalar la version 10.7.2 y me solicita el archivo VPinMAME_Cabinet_Build.zip pero no lo encuentro acá en el foro, alguien me puede ayudar con esto porfa. Saludos

I remember trying VP on my laptop a year ago and it did some weird things after I tried installing some add-ons so I ended up having to restore Windows.

 

I wondered if it was any better but after reading these messages, I don't think I'm going to bother with it at all, despite loving pinball machines.

 

My laptop has Windows 11 on it and wondered whether that might have caused any issues but looking at the virus messages etc. then I think it's not Windows 11 that's caused issues.

I found a trojan virus in  VPX72setup.zip Artemis!E2682B83BBE7 be carefull.

Wow, this is a modern version of Pinball Construction Set, which I played as a kid on my Apple ][.  Amazing.

 

Now I just have to figure out how to get Baby Pac Man running :)
