Solar Fire Williams Desktop
This is Solar Fire by Williams, Desktop edition.
Kruge99 sent me his playfield and apron images and contributed much regarding gameplay adjustment, comparing this simulation to his real machine.
Batch contributed the backdrop image for the desktop version.
Additional Thanks go to Fuzzel for providing the lightmap images for the inserts and the Williams flipper primitives and to JPSalas for the fading flasher code.
Have fun and please use the support topic to post any findings and suggestions.

Nice job on this table. Fun to play though maybe a little easy because I came close to setting the high score on my third game.
One question, though. I'm not familiar with the gameplay of Solar Fire and when I knocked down a target in one of the three banks of three and started hearing the countdown timer that Williams used I thought that the drop targets would reset as they do in Black Knight. Do they normally stay down in this table until all three are down?
Thank you very much for your work on this one!
Hi Zilverone,
yes the targets stay down until all three are hit. If You hit all three during the countdown time, the Solar Gun is loaded (the captive ball between the ramps), indicated by the three green insert lights.
Thanks for this beauty!
Great job!
Thanks
