Gottlieb mod physmod5
Well here goes, my first try at modding
I upgraded Luvthatapex's table to a more modern look, borrowing bits and pieces from all over the place.
What's done:
- Replaced playfield with one from the FP version
- Made new plastics from IPDB source
- Redid the light inserts
- Added ballrolling routine
- Added some static lighting
- Replaced stuff with primitives (rubbers, posts, screws, rubber wheel, triggers)
- Added slingshot animation
- Redid a few textures with FP ones (targets, bumpers)
- Modded physics to physmod5
There's still lots more that could be done but I'd have to learn a bit more first
I'll probably revisit the table as I learn new stuff....eventually.
Most pressing would probably replacing the varitarget and bumpers with primitives.
Thanks to:
Luvthatapex (original table)
Francisco666 (FP version textures)
Rascal/Pinuck (ball rolling routine borrowed from Abra Ca Dabra)
LoadedWeapon (flasher objects borrowed from Time Machine NM)
unclewilly, gtxjoe, Dark and Zany (primitive templates/objects)
JP Salas (slingshot animation routine)
Arngrim (DOF code)

What's New in Version 1.3 (See full changelog)
- 1.3:
- Adjusted flipper strength
- Set PinMAME Timer interval to 4 to fix "Shoot Again" light (as suggested by blur)
- 1.2:
- DOF code added by Arngrim
- Added primitive flippers
BRAVO FOR THIS GREAT ACHIEVEMENT, beautiful table, which reminds me of one of those pinball which I loved at the time.
Just one comment, why the table is slightly askew? (she leans a little to the left)
Nice, I enjoyed playing it last night.
I have a couple things though, for some reason on my cab it wouldn't take a coin, and finally figured out by playign on the keyboard that 3 and 4 add a coin, not 5 like everything else I have running. Any idea how I can fix it?
And I thought maybe it was something wrong with my setup, but your screenshot also shows that there are no little wires in the lanes, it functions fine just looks really odd without them.
Thanks again for the great older table update.
Beautiful Job, this looks fantastic. I love old Gottliebs.
but the flippers are WAY too strong for an EM. default is 3500, I took them back 50% on strength to 1750 and it plays better I think, allows you to measure your target shots much better.
Also noticed no wires in the top lanes.
I hope you also do a non PM5 version.
Thanks for the comments guys, I'll try to work those into a future update...
Awesome looking table. Would you consider posting it in VP 9.9 as well?
+1
Hello CJS, where do you adjust the flippers in the script?
Need PhysMod5 to Play ?
Ok, have read: yes ... thanks, good Table !
CJS, where is the Problem on PM5 ? You Need only the other .exe to start/Play ...
beautiful table, one of my favorites!
shoot again light is not working - it can be fixed by putting timer interval to 4
