I am happy to release my latest table - WWF Royal Rumble! Pretty self explanatory. A must have for wrestling fans. I think it's a pretty good flowing table, I don't know how it rates against other Data East tables though, I've never played a real one.
For this table I had several beta testers who owned the table and provided lots of great feedback. It helped immensely, it wasn't a benefit I had on previous releases and from what I understand, it plays pretty true to life.
I intend to release a physmod version soon, for now here it is for VP990
A couple bugs: for some reason, WRESTLE AGAIN light doesn't light when you can shoot again. This appears to be by (confusing) design.
Also, you cannot lane-select when you launch the ball. I noticed this issue on GnR as well, I think it's an emulation issue for DE from this era. If anyone has a solution, I'd love to fix it.
Thanks to everyone who tested the table, thanks to gtxjoe for the multiball GI help and getting my kickers to not screw up b2b!

Easter egg: press "J" to toggle on the ROYAL RANDR playfield and apron, and "K" to toggle back to ROYAL RUMBLE mode. Don't ask why, it just makes me laugh.

What's New in Version 1.11 (See full changelog)
- I sure make stupid mistakes sometimes
- New bumper caps (zany model)
- new flippers
- fixed left ramp registering wrestler shots
- fixed balls possibly getting stuck and/or jumping at the top ramp
- fixed left hole switch (I added it now..woops)
This looks great. I love the way it uses 'Hacksaw Jim Duggan' catchcry sample, ah geez I miss those golden days of wrestling. Now, where's my piece of 2x4...
Thanks, I had to use the green ball from Viper Night Drivn' because it was hard to see the ball. Good call Shadows, I found the B2S, X-Men and Avengers table at the same place. Extra ball doesn't seem to work and the ball gets stuck between the ramps on the lever every once and a while. Looks and plays great. "Snap into a Slim Jim"
Wonderful, thanks for the update. (fixed really fast)
Thanks, I had to use the green ball from Viper Night Drivn' because I couldn't see the ball. I wish there was a directB2S. *Snap into a Slim Jim*
There is, just not here. Try Google.
Hi.
I got a line 1999 type confict.
Greetings.
great table but I got script error
Awesome table, thanks for the work.
1999 line conflict, any fix?
Hi Fren, I realize the topic is quite old already, But i recently started playing the PM5 version alot. I really like it ! But i have just 1 porblem. Each time after i lose the last ball during "Royal Rumble" mode, it does not register. So i have to use option "B" to add a ball to the trough to continue the game. Do you have any idea what could cause this ? Thanks in advance.
any advice on getting a backglass running with this table? Having issues for some reason.
