Thought I would post some photos of my current setup and my cabinet build as it slowly progresses.
I am currently using a 32" monitor I got from a Nascar video driving game for my full screen tables on my desk top.
I am currently running HP front end with 45 tables. Mostly Bally/Williams 80's and 90's tables.
I am going to try a second monitor for the back glass and DMD soon. (My extra monitor cable just came in the mail today).
Also as a big step in the right direction, I just went to Houston to pick up my Indiana Jones wide body pinball cabinet.
It came complete with legs and a coin door. I just need a wide body lock down bar and the mechanism it locks into.
I happened to have a spare playfield glass from an old Twilight Zone that will do just nicely.
Anyway here are some photos, (if they work), of what I have set up currently.
My current desktop setup.
My Indiana Jones just after I unloaded it in my garage today
Right side with a bit of water damage. (easily fixable.)

I know this is off topic but... I am so jealous of the Pokemon mouse pad!!!
And your build looks like its off to a good start!

lol.
The mouse pad was my sons when he was a kid. We just never threw it out.
Makes a great non slip surface for my monitor.

awww poor indy it's always sad to see a real machine gutted but i suppose it's for a good cause
This particular IJ cabinet was hit by hurricane Rita. The playfield was taken out and used to make a very nice IJ in a better cabinet with all new art work.
Oddly enough this cabinet started its life here in Beaumont where I live. Went to Houston for the restoration, and is now back home in Beaumont to become a Virtual pin.
Strange how things work out sometimes.
And don't worry about the screen falling.
It would take a major earthquake to make it go anywhere. It is very stable and I turn it from side to side all the time.

Got a little bit of work done today.
I was going to work on getting the backbox glued back together, but my son drove off in my car that had my large clamp in it.
I did manage to get the two front legs of the cabinet presentable. They had heavy rust as you can see by this before and after shot.
I just used some Old #7 Chrome Polish and some elbow grease and now they will not look quite so bad.
I am trying to keep all the cost down to a minimum, so new legs are just not in the picture right now.
I also had time to spray the coin door so it looks really nice now.
Hard to get a good photo of solid black though.
I also came across this photo of my game room.
This is how it looked for many many years.
Currently I just have my Twilight Zone, Addams Family, Star Wars EP I and Revenge from mars.

Got a quick question for all of you Hyperpin users.
I asked this over at the other forum but it is so darn slow over there I have gotten nowhere.
Why are the static table photos that you scroll through at such a lower resolution than the actual tables?
Is it just for speed?
Is there any place that has higher resolution photos to use?
It is a great program, but I hate looking at all the fuzzy tables as I scroll through.

Awesome. That is just the answer I have been after for awhile now.
Will have to read it when I get home. Stuck at work now.

Thanks again for the link to that awesome program.
I converted all my screenshots tonight. They look fantastic now.
I found that setting all the tables to 8 seconds gave them enough time to load up properly so the screenshot had all the table lights on.
The media packs were great for getting everything set up. But the low resolution screenshots in them were driving me crazy.

I use the table videos in HyperPin, rather than static screenshots. I like to see the table animated while I scroll through my collection.

Just learned something new. I did not even know videos were an option. lol.
Where are these located in case I decide to try one out.
Do they produce much slow down of scrolling through the tables?
I do have a really fast CPU and video card.

Glad you liked the utility . I originally just wrote it for myself over a couple of days last Christmas and uploaded thinking there would be little interest - it now has surprisingly has been downloaded over 200 times. When I get some time I plan polish it up a bit adding some more XML generation options, an option to grab the VP backglass for B2S tables, and possibly an Auto Video capturing option for those who want Hyperpin videos.
PinScreenGen - Automatically Create Playfield Images, Backglass Images and XML for Hyperpin (Future Pinball and Visual Pinball)
PinJukeLaunch - Moves DWJukeBox to Backglass (2nd or 3rd monitor) and can change wallpaper on launch
PinHyperMatrix - Generates HTML report of missing Hyperpin Media, UVPs, B2Ss, etc.

You will find table videos in the downloads section. Just use the search feature and enter the name of the table you're interested in, then scroll through the results and look for HyperPin Table Videos - Visual Pinball (or Future Pinball, if that's appropriate).
You just throw them in the HyperPin\Media\Visual Pinball\Table Videos directory (replace Visual Pinball with Future Pinball when appropriate) and make sure the filenames match the ones used for the backglasses and stuff (with the different extension, of course).
The videos are typically compressed with WinRAR, so have that handy to extract them once downloaded.
To enable the feature, you'll need to go into the HyperPin settings file (HyperPin\Settings\settings.ini) and set the "Table_Video_Enabled = true".
The only time I've had slow down issues is with some Windows 7 machines where HyperPin runs slowly for seemingly unknown reasons - it's slow browsing, loading and exiting tables, and the videos are slow firing up. On a machine where HyperPin behaves correctly, it's instant.

Great information. Thanks a bunch for all the help.
Thought I would try one out just for grins. Must have done something wrong as it still just show static image and not video.
I downloaded and extracted to Hyperpin videos folder. my table_video_Enabled was already set to true in the .ini
I copied and pasted the exact file name I had on my static image over to the video.
Still it just shows the static image, no video.
Do I need to delete or rename the static image, or will the video just override the images?
Must all tables be video for it to work properly?
