Based on the table by Gottlieb from 1978

Thanks to everyone who provided assistance with the original VP9.1.2 build and the conversion to VPX.
Credits are in the script.

Full screen users will have to remember to go into the Backdrop settings then untick the DT Mode and Enable EMREELS boxes box and save the table before playing in Fullscreen.

A directB2S is already available for download but I haven't coded the controller script for it yet but I'll try to get that scripted up for version 1.0.0 upon release.

Please post all bug reports and physics adjustments in the release topic, not in the comments section of this download page.  Thank you.

What's New in Version VPX 1.0.0 (See full changelog)

  • Version 1.0
  • -Pretty sure I found all collide-able objects and verified their physics settings. There should be no more weird bounces resulting in a major curve ball. If I've missed anyone in the credits, let me know and I'll post a minor update with the corrections. Thanks to everyone who played the release candidates and provided feedback.
  • RC1 - version 0.1.9
  • -many physics tweaks - probably the last physics tweaks unless someone points out better adjustments.
  • **Note:This will likely be the last Release Candidate published before I release version 1.0 as my last step will be to implement JPSalas' VPX ball rolling/collision subroutine and fx_sounds.
  • **
  • RC1 - version 0.1.4
  • -ongoing physics tweaks
  • -added DOF config from arngrim
  • -please continue to provide physics feedback adjustments in the release thread
  • RC1 - version 0.1.2
  • -added script for controller.vbs
  • -fixed spinner
  • -fixed drop targets not registering a hit
  • -updated script so that disable EMREELS check box on Backdrop is no longer required for Fullscreen mode
  • -initial pass on physics tweaking of rubbers and playfield friction.
  • Release candidate 1 - version 0.1.0

Thank you for doing this table.  I restored and enjoyed the EM version (Eye Of the Tiger) so this is a table I have been hoping that would get some attention.  Is there any chance you may be able to correct the drop targets?

Thanks very much kruge, very nice job, real attention to detail!  Plays and looks great.  Digital score is over playfield but was easy to fix by moving it off to the side in the editor.

Shadowsclassic, you can select all, and uncheck "visible" ... its easier ;)

I get a kick out of seeing this table every time it comes up.  The scratched up playfield and mis-matched targets and broken plastics were from the physical table I owned.  Rather than taking the time to clean everything up and make it look like a brand new playfield and plastics, the table builder decided to keep this table like what some of us have in our basements.  A 40 year old machine that's seen quite a bit of love.  It's not in perfect condition, but we all love to keep playing it.  Sadly I sold this table off a few years ago.

Table works great.  I figured out how to change the target to purple.  I don't know why I did not try earlier, it is simple enough to do.  Thank you for updating to VP X!

Thx for this beautiful table :)

Thanks, it's like in the good old times !
