Dragon 2010 WS

Version: 2010
Category: VP 9.x Originals

Author(s): Bob5453

Description:
For Widescreen Monitors

New backdrop with new colors. I fixed the kickers so balls aren't displayed cut in half, this didn't happen when table was first release, but VP keeps changing. Table loads with Playfield showing a darker red Dragon and the plastics are also darker, changes to old playfield and plastics at start. I wanted to mess around, but didn't feel like doing lights in the normal way.... Returns to dark at Game Over.

You need a WideScreen monitor for this version....

Thanks Mitch. It has EM sounds as this is my New Age EM table, sort of an experiment. I almost added some music, but decided not to. smile.gif

Hi Bob,

I missed that table.
Very clear designed. I like both, the open field and the fantasy theme.
Plays great. Here it turns out that a good table must not be necessarily crowded with "things".

I noticed a small graphical flaw: the plunger cover looks unsightly distorted when the light comes on. Has perhaps to do with the video driver?

Thanks for sharing!

The series of VP9 releases have all supposedly fixed something, but at the same time, they all seem to make something else go wrong for a few people. VP9 is extremely dependent on a decent graphic card and even a decent pc now. I'm not a very tech person, but checking and unchecking the Hardware Render box in VP seems to be most people's major problem. Some people need to play with the "Draw In Front" property of some table objects to make them not seem to be floating in air. Drivers can be a problem also.

It's very frustrating for many users and I think many of the old users without great pc's have left the scene. The guys with cabinets seem to be the 30 to 40 yr old guy who doesn't mind buying new stuff to make this program work and a lot of them started with a Future Pinball cabinet, so that means they already had a nice pc and graphics card.

Sorry to be of so little help here. It's nice to see you back Walter. drinks.gif

@ Starman, if you are using VP 909, try VP908.
I personnally do not use VP909 because of all this little problems & the fact that I cannot adjust the launching settings individually for each table.

Dragon WS plays fine here on my low end laptop with HR Render on.

I still use VP 9.0.7

I thought 9.0.8 fixed something for cabinets and 9.0.9 seems to break the bumpers and change the kicker properties in some tables, so I never downloaded it.
