Skill Ball Junior

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VP 8.x - Bagatelle

Author(s): tiltjlp

Description:
A variety of traditional and fun sounds should keep this game entertaining. Not at all related to my Skill Ball table, in spite of the similar names.

Skill Ball Junior, made by The Standard Table Company in 1932, is one of the highest quality, best made home sale bagatelle I have ever seen. There is a Skill Ball Senior, which I've never seen; maybe it was a deluxe model, or a more involved and intricate game. For a game this old, it still plays very nicely, and is interesting in that the Doubler Cup is center bottom, which makes it unlikely any balls will survive to reach it. As with all bagatelle, nudging is a part of the game, but with Skill Ball Junior you might have to nudge a ball if it gets hung up on pins alomg the sides.

I have acquired one of these old Skill Ball Junior tabletop pinball games, in very good shape, nothing broken or missing, and it works quite well. It is part of the estate of a deceased friend who had many antiques and collectibles, one entire room is old toys and games.

My duty is to liquidate everything, but I have no idea what this game is worth. I already sold an old 1933 Lindstrom's "Gold Star" pinball game for $35, it was in pretty rough shape, and I found through an internet search that a price on that item was between $35-75, depending on condition.

I found a site that describes the Skill Ball Junior game, but doesn't have a picture. I will probably take a picture of the one I have and upload it to the site, but I still need to know what this thing is worth. Is there a way I can send you a picture and you could tell me what something like it is worth? I cannot find another one like it online anywhere for comparison.

$35 huh? heck I'd buy one at that low price anytime!
um can you take some pics of this room full of toys?
some of them may be needed or wanted by some or all of us here
we can even bid on them if need be!
but I'd ask around on pin sites for the prices a bit
before dumping them for 35 bucks each
