Hey, I am trying to import a model into fp, but I've made the model in sketchup and need to convert it into ms3d file format. Any help is apreciated!

Try the 'contact us' link on the site you downloaded the model importer from - http://www.pinsimdb.org/fpreleases/ since they created the model importer. I don't know of anyone who has used sketchup. Maybe they need some musturd to go with that?

Try exporting your model to .obj with sketchup, then importing the same .obj file into Milkshape. You'll have to load the texture in seperately though I think.

Ok, so I got the file into a 3ds and Obj, but I can't find it in milkshape! Any other programs or converters that I can use to get the file into a fpm file?

In milkshape, you have to go to File->Import-> then choose either Wavefront OBJ or Autodesk 3DS. As far as I know, only the milkshape format is accepted into the FPM editor.

Ok, I have it in milkshape, but it says I have to buy a registration code to save!

I found out why it is not working, when I installed milkshape, I didn't select "trail version"! Now it works.
