Super Mario Bros VP9 V1.2

Version: 1.2.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): 1up, unclewilly

Description:
Super Mario Bros VP9 V1.2
This version starts at V1.1 as it has the same updates as the FS 1.1 version.

This was a joint effort between myself (1up) and unclewilly. This was also my first attempt at building a table and a big thanks to unclewilly for joining the project, otherwise this table would still be a few months away from completion.

All artwork and light inserts images have been completely redrawn.

Hope you guys enjoy the table, it was a alot of fun building it.

so now it's time to save the princess...

UPDATE 1.2
Table now loads the latest “smb3” rom. So you will need this rom for the table now.
The pre-configured nvram for the smb3 rom is also included in the zip file, so it will accept coins. Place this in your "nvram" folder of your VPinMAME installation.(Thanks to Destruk for this).
-Fixed a few script errors that were occurring (again thanks to Destruk for the fixes), you will no longer get a script error if you tilt the table.
-Fixed the red yoshi ramp again . So the ball will no longer get stuck anywhere on this ramp.

I want to change the ball in the game. I went to Image Manager . I selected the ball I want and hit Import , clicked ok in the box and then changed the color to black . Hit exit and it asked me if I want to save changes , hit yes and that closed the box and exited the program . What am I doing wrong . Please help !!!! I get the ball surrounded by a black box.

Are you running the pin as administrator . If that doesn't work delete the pin from your tables folder and redown the pin . I am using the SMB rom with out any problems . Hope this helps !!!

Thank you very much for the helping settings serpiko,

now looks very good for me, i set only the inclinaison value back to :58

What for a great table release 1up, thanks.

If you chances the values, you must move the yellow tube(Ramp1740, image 555b) on the left side or you have a graphic bug.

Is the ball image you imported in a .jpg file? The image should be created and saved as a .bmp so that the background color stays true. I'm guessing that the image you imported was a .jpg and even though the black background you wanted to be transparent looked black, it wasn't true black (the .jpg file format is a lossy compression format). That's why in VP you still see a black box around the ball.

Take a look at the attached 1405788.bmp ball image. Because it is a .bmp the colors will stay true when edited/saved. The transparency for this image would be Red=255, Green=0, and Blue=255.
