Scripting or dragging to a second monitor or just placing Reels, Textboxes and lights on the editor's backdrop and having them work on a second monitor.

Anyway it could be done would just be awesome. dblthumb.gif

Full Screen EM & Original tables with working back glasses.

That would be awesome!

Thank you and whoever develops this feature will go down in VP history.... smile.gif

YES!

I concur with this one 100%.

In fact, Bob and I were discussing this in chat, and if there is anyway to add a checkbox option to display the Backdrop contents found in the editor on a second monitor, we'd throw a HUGE party in your honor!!

This would be an amazing addition to VP. Alot of us cabinet users would be able to convert a ton of great EM tables. Also, tables like NBA Fastbreak and Cirqus Voltaire would have proper backglass games. Bob's tables would be much nicer if we could put reels, or even a digital scoreboard on the backglass. I realize this is possible already with spanned tables, but I like to load everything from HyperPin, and changing to spanned resolution each time is just a hassle.

Would this be a difficult thing to add to VP? I am curious if it is asking alot....

Hello

After several weeks, I returned to work on a second monitor. I hope that one or two weeks, making it available to the development team VPinball.

I would like to say, if this comes to reality that I would be a very happy VP player and I might step up to mod some of the older EMs (if their authors can be found to obtain permission) in Fullscreen! biggrin.gif This would bring a new level of awesomness to Visual Pinball that would be... AWESOME!!! dblthumb.gif

That is awesome Manofwar! otvclap.gif

Is this being done straight from the editor with no external files and does it slow down the performance of the table compared to UVP?

No external files. What you see in the 2nd monitor is the backdrop of the table. It does not slow down, because the backdrop is not drawn on the primary monitor, only in the secondary.

great job! maybe you could do some tests with the Scared Stiff Spider as well? that uses overlapping reels, so might be trickier to figure out. It would be great to see though.

Cool. This is really great man. Thanks for working on this. Alot of us have really been looking forward to it. Is this something that is going to be put straight into the VP source, or an add-on? I think Destruk was trying to get ahold of you earlier.

How would this work in a table that uses reels on the backglass for table graphics? Would you have to choose one or the other or will you be able to set individual reels to either display on monitor 1 or monitor 2?

It is a modification of Visual Pinball. Destruk and I have already spoken. I have yet to register at Sourceforge, to work on the project.

Youtube has failed. 30 minutes for nothing. I will try again tomorrow, now has to sleep. Here are 3:47 am.

Bob, still do not know. I think the best will in the video options of Visual Pinball, a chek to enable / disable the second monitor.

regards

I love this!!

Also, don't forget about adding resolution options.

Too bad it's going to make most of Flying Dutchman's work obsolete. Would it be possible to have a way to import the existing UVP's?
