I am wondering if anyone else has this problem? Some tables do not act normal during play, the flippers seem to be out of sinc with the flipper buttons and the ball seems to track as it is moving around the table in play, so you really never know exactly where the ball is and when to hit the flipper as it may already be between the flippers and out of play before the flipper starts to move. The game I just noticed this on is the really cool table The Jetsons with the original cartoon music to the opening of the show. The vast majority of tables play as they are supposed to but, as I stated, there are a few that are really jerky. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to remedy it? Thanks, BT

even though you are using FP I have that same problem in VP! the cueball wizard table (by destruk, I think) gives me that exact same problem. What it is, is my graphics chip can't handle all that info at once, (fading lights, mostly) the ball flashes actually disappearing every other second and the flippers hesitate every other second also, causing certain tables to be completely unplayable. I have the infamous intel integrated graphics, which runs off the motherboard NOT a graphics card so all the graphics use the main memory which is insufficient to run the newer tables properly. it sux but that is why many computers are cheaper because they use intel integrated graphics which are NOT upgradeable at all (my computer has no pci slot to even put a graphics card into)

Yeah, my guess is that your computer just isn't powerful enough..

did you try going into Preferences -> Video/Rendering Options, and then lowering the graphic options?

If you press f9 while in game, you can see your fps (frames per second) in the top left corner.. how high is it on the Jetsons table, while playing? Does it fluctuate a lot?

Make sure to have v-sync turned on. It may help.

Ok, so I read a few of the comments by others in the FB section and made some changes in Preferences .....Video/Rendering and it made a noticable improvement in the play of those particular tables.
I have noticed another problem that perhaps someone can address for me. There are several tables, North Star is one of them, that have 5 balls that empty out to the right when you push the 5 button to insert the coin and then press 1, when you press the 1 key the balls slide out of a clear chamber that you can see at the bottom right of the table, that says 'BALLS PLAYED' they empty out, BUT THEN THERE IS NO BALL TO PLAY!!! You push the ENTER key and let it go and hear the plunger activate but no ball!!! Any good guesses as to that is up with that??? Thanks

AHHHH HAAA!!! Thanks faralos, I guess I just have to either delete the game or suffer through it!!!! LOL, BT

Ok, lowered the graphics option. I have made so many changes to my Preferences now that I will probably never be able to get it back the way it was without re-installing the program, but so far I do not need to do that. I started the Jetsons table and launched the ball and pressed F9 but did not see anything in the left upper corner. I have noticed that my tables now load with only half a screen showing, and I have to drag the bottom down to reach the Max button in the top left hand corner. LOL, What's next???? BT

Hey, thanks Rawd.......that seemed to help a little as well, if I keep turning stuff off and on enough this thing will either implode or actually play a little better in some games. Now, all I have to worry about is what is going to happen to the 99% of tables that worked just fine before I started messing with stuff!!!! BT

JPSalas. I didn't work on a Cueball Wizard table.

You can mess with the options all you want to get the best performance for your machine. The goal would be to get 60FPS solid with v-sync turned on (with v-sync on it will not go above 60). Press F9 to check your FPS in-game.

If I remember correctly, pressing the "L" button gives you a ball on those tables. Or at least a button somewhere near that... just press stuff to see what happens. wink.gif

Hey, thanks! It is the "A" key. Now I wish I had waited for that information before I deleted those other two games out of the FB folder. I have downloaded so many tables now that I cannot recall which other two worked the same way. BT

The only reason why i haven't mastered Tales From The Crypt pinball table is due to some jerky motion that interferes with my game. It would be awesome if JP could revise this one! smile.gif

Well, I forget now who it was that told me this, someone much more computer savy that myself, but I suspect that the problem lies with my computer, it simply does not have the needed software in it to play some of these games that are really large in the MB realm. So, if I want to play them I have to suffer along with all the jerky motion and guessing where the ball is at any given moment. I am probably headed toward a new keypad as I am pounding this one to smitherines when I play thos tables. BT

If you are running Windows 7, disable the Aero theme by switching to Classic Windows theme.I´ve experienced the same thing.

Thanks 1234fd, but I am using XP, and more than likely it is my dirt cheap software. I took suggestions from others and shut down or turned off some aspects of FP in Options and that made some good improvements but some of the larger MB games are more than my computer can handle. Thanks again for your suggestions. BT
