A special 2010 World Cup update to my Hat-Trick football game.This special edition is 1-player only, and featues all the teams, group fixtures, game dates & FIFA rankings for the actual competition.
To celebrate the 2010 World Cup here is a special version of my Hat-Trick football table.

Win the World Cup for the country of your choice!

This special edition is 1-player only, and featues all the teams, group fixtures, game dates & FIFA rankings for the actual competition.

This World Cup version has been specially written for VP9.

Please be aware that due to the animations of the flippers in this game it does take a while to load, but should play without issue once loaded.

So that's where you've been hiding! hard at work converting this cool table into vp9! I love the fact that it's now only a 1 player game since my gal sux at pins (but she's getting better!) I tend to play them by myself! and while not really a soccer fan I like the layout as it's radically different from anything else I've seen! Great job WH and under 5mb too!!

errr...the original table can be played as 1-player, 2-player or even 0-player (computer plays itself!) - nevermind...just play this one

I didn't forget the Jabulani - it's just impossible to do in VP...if you put a whole an image for the ball it doesn't "roll" - looks very unrealsitic for a football. If you just use decals on the ball they're very small and only in the middle of the ball - unfortunately not at all like the design of the jabulani

...but if that's the only negative comment on the table I'm well chuffed (ok, so only a few people have downloaded it so far, so I may get more comments )

Oh...and Brazil - pah!...Spain - pah! This is ENGLAND'S year

Well....it's started

...and I've just thought that I need to find someway of putting the real results in for the games that have been played, so that if I (or anyone else) play this table after the group stage it still would reflect the real World Cup.

hmmm...must be fairly easily do-able - afterall, in the original version of Hat-Trick I can save an entire League & Cup season's worth of data (& load it in at the touch of a single key).

The main problem with this idea is time! Wife is working nearly all weekend, so I'm looking after my little boy!
Oh well...I'll see what I can do.

Well....it appears I should have released this in VP8 not VP9, as when England are playing the ball should be able to go straight through the keeper flipper....sheesh!!
