Thank you Wizards Hat!! Yes if coding is an iceberg, I have an ice cube of knowledge about coding! But I am willing to learn (and I got back your email regarding the potc table, thanks I'll look into it today!) But he's right! I am slowly grasping the concept of coding and strongly recommend anyone who has any hesitation to try their own to just look into other tables especially the helpful tutorial ones (Wizards Hat has a few on here that are MOST helpful) tear a few apart and try to see how the code goes together! even the 'new' table you start with has basic code for the slingshots and plunger. from this you will gain a better understanding of it all! Certain things are still beyond my grasp of knowledge (kickers, spinner discs, Em reels, bonus-saved-scoring) but in time I'll learn these too!
You can always google stuff too, I found numerous pics and sound sites that helped me find things I was at a loss over! and having found these sites also learned how to convert sound files, such as MP3 sound bites into Wav. files for use within the
VP programs! also am learning art programs ('photobie' and 'truespace' to name two!) Truespace is what the famous [gaming god] coder 'Scapino' uses for his beautiful recreations of commercial pins! He builds a mockup of a vp table then copies that picture and 'cheats' vp by using it as a decal over an existing vp skeleton in the 'backglass' screen! who knew? well now everyone does! I am not saying it's easy, but these are the things you can learn by just asking (his glove animation for that Johnny Mnemonic table is just coding wizadry I agree, but there are easier things one can do, given time) so thank you one and all for all your help and patience,
and again for anyone willing but hesitant to build their own If I can do it, anyone can
