NOWAY!

I used to play this table on an OLD version of vp years ago! (did you make that one?)

When I first setup VP9 it was one of the first few tables that I looked for and was very disapointed that it wasn't available. Thank-you SO much. I was about to go to bed dammit! smile.gif

Downloaded the 7 digit rom and gave it a spin. Looks and plays great. If there are any problems, believe me I will find them! smile.gif

I didn't make the first Spider-man VPM version, but I made the second one about 4 years ago... smile.gif

I had to make the flippers rather strong to make the shot from the left flipper that goes up the A lane and through the light 1000 point lane that turns on the bumpers and then continues on to the kicker holes. There's a bug in the ROM where it doesn't ever turn off the bumpers for the rest of the game once you turn them. The ball also appeared elongated, so I used a squished ball image. smile.gif

I'm new at this and I have a 16x9 monitor, I assume VP just sizes this table to a 16x10 monitor without needing adjustments?

It was about 3 years ago that I used to play it on my mame cab in 4:3. It was probably your version. Late Thanks for that! smile.gif

Ya, It will size itself to whatever resolution.

I just noticed there is no UVP for this! sad.gif I think I may try to make my own for this one! smile.gif

I am pretty sure I have this already and played it in FS mode on my pinball PC! Have you made any adjustments or changes, other than rotating it for FS, Bob? (Maybe somebody converted it to FS a while back? I'm confused now. think.gif )

Best Regards,
Todd.

I have not seen it anywhere for download and no one has ever contacted me about uploading a FS version anywhere....

Changes? I can't hardly load one of my tables into the editor without making changes..... This is why a cabinet wouldn't work so well for me as I would also need to have some sort of work station close by. smile.gif I remember resizing the targets on the right so they weren't so thin looking after the rotation and I added a new ball image to compensate for the elongated ball look. I made all fullsize table graphics 1024 pixels wide, instead of 512, so the table and plastics display should look better. I moved all of the trigger wires so they appeared to be in the center of the openings. I moved the top left gate. I changed the Kickercup displays. I changed the wall height of the bumper base.... etc. smile.gif

I am still learning about this widescreen stuff, so if anyone makes an further changes, I would like to know, so I could try them out also. I am after all, just plugging in numbers as I never saw a conversion tutorial. I have noticed that the Inclination setting is extremely important to converting to FS. Basically, I did very little to this table, compared to about 50 hours of work on the Spider-man Original that I released earlier Full Screen.

love the table Bob, the best Spiderman table ever. I HATE the nudging though. Seriously wtf I nudge the ball to the left and it goes up and to the right....... the nudging on this table keeps me from playing it more often.

This is just a converted VP8 table.

It really was/is a nice VP8 4:3 version. smile.gif

I would put this version in the recycle bin.

I don't mind the criticism.... Seriously, the VP9 nudging system is a real sore spot for me. The table objects no longer move and interact with the ball when you nudge like they did for the first 9 years of VP. StartShake only tricks your eye into seeing the table visually move, but it's not moving internally in the physics of the table, so the objects don't impact the ball like they did before Nanotech changed it for their cabinets which had a special system for nudging that they will sell you for 300 US dollars. Over 90% of all my nudging takes place when the ball is about to strike an object.... If the ball is going downward and to the left and it's about to strike an object and you left nudge the table, the ball should strike that object with the extra force of that object moving slightly towards the ball, thus nudging the ball to the right with a little more force than if you didn't nudge at all.

I now treat VP9 as a fun and exciting video arcade game that has whacky and exciting nudges. smile.gif

If you play 4:3 tables then try my Spider-man 2010 table for VP9. I think it's more exciting.... The nudge might be different too, I can't remember.

Interesting about the Nudging....I have your spiderman 2010 in FS. BTW I had to check HD Render on all of your VP9 original table uploads bob to get them to not play choppy.

I have to have HD Render Unchecked to see the table graphics. It's a catch22, if you know what I mean. smile.gif
