Everything seems to work well for me, save for a strange, loud sound, a sort of low buzz, or hoot, that plays continuously, and very annoyingly. Sometimes it's there from the beginning, at other times it pops up during gameplay. I don't know if it depends on the rom, just to be sure I tried three different sets: the one from this site, the one from "Pinball Nirvana" and the one from the IPDB (after renaming it), but with the same result. What could I do to make that go away?

Since sound isn't accurate for this game, you could correct the emulation in the open source visual pinmame, disable sound with F1 and checking the box, or play Mata Hari.

Build a fire, vipers love the heat.

I'll go with Mata Hari... thank you.
